We are Silvia and Michele and welcome you to Rosso Magenta! Our apartment is located on the fifth floor with elevator of a noble palace of the early '900; is bright and from our balcony you can enjoy a wonderful view of the center of Genoa and also of a glimpse of the sea. Our house is located in a strategic position to visit Genoa, a stone's throw from the center, in the elegant and quiet neighborhood of Castelletto, green and quiet.

Stayed May 20, 2025Beautiful place, great area. Awesome apartment and balcony to sip evening wine and view the city. Loved having an elevator finally in Italy after 4 weeks. I have lugged my suitcases up sooo many stairs!! Ciao! Joe

Stayed Jul 6, 2024We enjoyed our stay in Genoa. Silvia the host was very helpful; she communicated well. We had everything we needed for the two nights that we stayed in the area. We were there in July. There was no A/C but we were comfortable opening the windows which provided a cool, steady breeze. The apartment was fully furnished with all of the amenities that we needed and there were two fans to help circulate the air-flow. We also enjoyed the character and nostalgia of the lift. The apartment was on the fifth floor, but it was very easy to access. The building had a lot of character to it. We were able to navigate easily by using the buses, taxes, and accessing the funicular, which was just steps away.

Stayed Jul 15, 2023Easy place to stay and nice apartment. Close to old town and everything Genoa has to offer. Was very hot during the stay so was good to have fans!

Stayed May 3, 2023This property was as advertised, the services and amenities were as described, there were no issues at all with the property. It is situated in a quiet, pleasant neighbourhood, in reasonable proximity to the historic and cultural heart of Genoa. However prospective guests need to keep in mind that the property is situated high up on a hill so those with some mobility limitations may want to consider a location in the flatter part of the city. We needed to make a lot of use of taxis because of this

Stayed Aug 4, 2021The apartment is well equiped, on the fifth floor (elevator) and situated on a hill, so you have a great view from the balcony over the citry center and the sea in the background. The apartment is clean, has two good sofabeds and a well equiped kitchen. It has an international atmosphere.

Stayed Jun 20, 2018Silvia's communications were brilliant. The apartment was indeed charming with such interesting artefacts from their travels. Very well equipped and in an ideal location for sightseeing in Genoa. From the balcony you overlook the Saint Anna furnicular but we were never aware of any noise. For those less mobile, there are many hills in Genoa and many steps up to the apartment, but manageable and well worth the effort. A very nice restaurant Le Rune is at the bottom of the steps from the apartment and the staff were very welcoming and the food was lovely. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Genoa.
