This little place is excellent! Great proximity to Old Town Alexandria. Clean and well stocked unit. Fairly quiet given its location. The back bedroom is very quiet. Bed was comfortable with lovely sheets and pillows. Would highly recommend!

Well-stocked little private piece of paradise. Nice amount of privacy for 2 couples and just the right amount of space. Very nice spot in Old Town. However, carpool recommended.

Comfortable and very clean townhome. Row-house style home, private entrance with stairwell to upstairs living. Clean and comfortable home. The only noise we heard was the trash pickup outside our bedroom window, twice during the week we stayed, but we were getting up to tour DC anyway. No complaints about the home, amentities, or location. Thankful to be able to have our car parked within an easy walk of the home, 1/2 block or less, and included in the price. Each morning we walked .5 mile to the subway to tour DC which we thoroughy enjoyed. We only got our car out from the designated parking bay once during our stay to tour the DC monuments at night. After 8:30 on a weeknight, there was no traffic and the monuments were great to see lit up and under the moonlight. We felt safe and had no issues (Nov. 2025). Our last night, we did take the Alexandria Old Town (free) trolley from our block to the riverfront at the end of King St.,, approximately 2 miles, and browsed local shops and had a great dinner. Highly recommend this location when visiting the area, DC or Alexandria. Host was responsive but we had no needs.

Our second stay in the past 12 months. The property is exactly as advertised. Fully renovated brown-stone, second-floor apartment. Comfy, clean & modern. The reserved parking-space is so convenient if you’re traveling by car. Owner is readily available & nearby should you have any problems. Great location in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. Walking distance (a block or two) to wonderful restaurants, pastry shops, Jewish deli, bars, specialty retail stores, as well as a short walk to the Potomac waterfront & loads of history. Easy Uber trip to/from both center city DC & Reagan National Airport. We give this one an A+ & intend to revisit for a third time in the coming year.

We had a wonderful stay! The apartment was adorable and so well appointed. It gave us the option to have our own separate sleeping space and bathroom, which was a huge bonus for two married working Moms who value alone time. Everything was clean, smelled good, and cozy. We were in town for a work conference that happens yearly, so we'll be sure to recommend our coworkers to the spot and stay again ourselves next time we come. Highly recommend!

This apartment was perfect for my husband and I. It was really clean and very comfortable. Communication with the host was easy, as was check in and out. The photos don’t do it justice. There was a half bath that I didn’t expect. It is right on King Street and walkable to everything. I would happily return.

Can't say enough about this amazing property! The pictures are phenomenal - but they just don't do it justice! The color scheme and decor create a sanctuary that you will be dying to return to after a day's worth of adventures. The owner has really paid attention to every last detail - making a stay away from home feel no different than actually being at home. The convenience of the Trolley to make shopping and dining easier was fantastic! And communication with the owner/manager when needed was quick and easy. A 5-star rating just seems insufficient for how wonderful this place really is.

Truly pleased with the location and value of this VRBO! Up to date rooms and appliances and very clean. Communication with ownership was flawless and they were super helpful during our stay!! Very responsive and quick actions. Bed was comfortable and TVs were enormous :) I would highly recommend this location. Close to all the popular King St stores and ice cream shops !! Parking spot provided by owner and was sufficient and easy to get to.

Right in the middle of everything happening on King Street! Our first time in Alexandria and we couldn't have picked a better area to stay. We didn't have a car and it was easy to get to the transit station and take the bus, metro or hop on the free trolley along the street to go to the river. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Our recent stay was so easy and enjoyable. The location cannot be beat. We lived in the area around 15 years ago and wanted to share our favorite spots with our children, while also doing the touristy DC stuff. Half way between the river and the Metro was perfect for us. The place itself is so cute and clean. There were 4 of us and the girls said the pull out couch was comfortable. We arrived late due to flight delays and had no issue getting in and getting settled. The host was quick to respond if I had any questions. I would highly recommend it!

I rented this property for my parents as a birthday present getaway. They raved about how clean and beautiful the property was. Not only that, it’s in a great spot - walkable to lots of shopping and restaurants. Highly recommend!

We arrived as scheduled with no problems with parking or getting into rental. The property was clean, well-furnished and a great location for exploring local Old Alexandria and Washington D.C. via the Metro. We would choose this rental again when visiting!

The charming description fits this rental. We liked the location for getting the Metro to see the sights in the capitol. King street has cute boutiques and plenty of fun dining. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed at this Old Town Alexandria property for 4 night during Christmas week, while visiting relatives in the DC area over the Holidays. This property was exactly as advertised-no surprises! Right on King Street (but quiet) in the heart of Old Town, this property takes up the entire 2nd floor of a charming historic 2-story residence, with a lovely retail store immediately below. Spacious, exceptionally appointed with a fully equipped kitchen, full bathroom & a half, very large master bedroom with comfortable queen bed & a pull-out sofa in the living room Large walk-in closet with washer & dryer. So much room & exceptionally remolded. Perfect for the two of us, but would also work well with two children or a 2nd couple on the pull-out sofa-bed. Just a block or two to numerous great restaurants, bars & antique shops. Two amazing pastry shops & clothing stores in the same block. A great Jewish deli & a fromagerie just a block away. The complimentary, reserved parking spot was so convenient & just a half block away. Easy access self-check in, dual door entrance. Very safe neighborhood. Owner/host, Jennifer, was just lovely & readily accessible in the event of any questions or issues. This was the perfect place to stay while in the DC area. We’ll definitely be back to this charming apartment on our next trip to visit the relatives!

MARVELOUS! Wonderful 2nd floor apartment in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. We were there for 5 days over the recent Christmas Holiday week, visiting family who live nearby. Location couldn’t be better! Clean and well-maintained. Walking distance to the Potomac waterfront. Great restaurants, bakeries, cheese shop, Jewish deli, charming retail shopping all within a block or two. Easy property check-in and keypad security access. Owner/host, Jennifer, was great to work with & accessible if necessary. The private, complimentary off-street parking-space was so handy, as we were there during Christmas-week and street parking was at a premium. Loads of space for a couple or a couple plus 1 or 2 kids (with sleeper sofa). Spacious & well accessorized kitchen. This property is exactly as advertised! You’re gonna love it and the neighborhood, as well.

I stayed at this apartment to attend a week long class in Old Town. I quickly found out the location could not have been any better! It was right amongst all of the lovely shops and restaurants. The parking spot was super convenient as well. The apartment itself was clean as a whistle and appointed so nicely for my stay. I was thrilled with it. Thank you, Jennifer, for helping me with the parking on the first night as well. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking to spend time in this lovely area!

This unit is on the second floor of an old building on King str. It has been totally rebuilt with all the modern fixtures and very tastefully decorated. Also, it comes with a dedicated parking spot included in the cost of the unit. We did not move our car for four days as everything we wanted to see and do was within walking distance including the Metro to the District. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed super comfy. The owner was very responsive when we reported the coffee maker was not functioning. We had a new one the next morning including a bag of coffee. We will definately be back!

Wonderful, well appointed newly redone older home right on King Street in Old Town, Alexandria! Lovely week stay to visit family and see the sites in Old Town and DC.

My two sons and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is perfect for exploring Old Town Alexandria. There are several shops and restaurants nearby. The condo was very clean and nicely appointed. There is also a parking spot that is easy to access and just a short walk from the condo. There are just a few quirks to take into account: 1) The water pressure in the shower was very low, 2) the garbage or recycling truck arrived before 7am on both mornings of our stay and made quite a bit of noise directly underneath the bedroom window, 3) there is a very narrow set of stairs leading up to the condo, so if you have several bags it's very difficult to get them in the door and up to the unit. But, apart from these things we really enjoyed our stay.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. We were two adults and 5 yo twins. The apartment is fully equipped and very clean. The location within Old Alexandria is just perfect, surrounded by cool shops and restaurants, and just blocks away from the metro station, which we used frequently to go to the museums in DC. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.
