We really enjoyed our stay, and wish that we had had longer to enjoy it. The apartment is very roomy and is separate from the main house. It has a deck with a table and chairs to enjoy the sunrise over the river and another area to enjoy some shade!

My sister and I stayed for a couple of nights and found this place absolutely PERFECT in every way. Great location close to Fairhope which was an awesome place to visit and dine and also close to Foley if you want to shop. So peaceful and relaxing to sit on the deck and enjoy the river view. The owners are absolutely the BEST ever. So friendly and helpful in EVERY way. Too much to say about this perfect spot ! It's a must stay place and we definitely plan to visit again!

Great place by the river!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. This is such an amazing place to relax with awesome views. The apartment was very clean and the layout of the rooms are perfect. It fit great in our budget as well! Also the drive to the beach is not far at all. The owners are very friendly and did an amazing job with this cozy home away from home.

The stay here was amazing. It is clean, comfortable, and cozy. The water and snacks were very much appreciated. The hospitality of the owners is wonderful. My family and I were greeted as soon as we got there and they told us to let them know if we needed anything. All toiletries are provided and the beds are so comfortable. The decor is adorable and as soon as you walk through the door you can smell and see the cleanliness. Wonderful place to unwind and relax.

You really can't appreciate this rental until you stay. For the same price of a hotel room, you get all the amenities of a full home. No fighting over the bathroom. You can cook or grill your own meals. Relax in a tranquil location. And the hosts are so accommodating.

The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and every detail—down to the fresh towels and thoughtful local touches—was perfect.The location was ideal: peaceful and private, yet close enough to restaurants, shops, and attractions. We especially loved the river views and morning walks in the neighborhood. The host was responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was seamless. We can’t recommend this place enough and will absolutely be back. If you’re considering booking—do it. You won’t be disappointed!

Lovely stay at the Upper Room only outdone by our wonderful hosts, Shane and Elise.

My family and I stayed here while in the area for a soccer tournament. The location is off the beaten path but is very accessible to Fairhope and Foley. Shane was very welcoming and friendly.

Shane & Elise were so kind and their home had everything you need for a comfortable stay, plus some! The extra touches made our stay even more special from complimentary snacks and waters to even the qtips in the bathroom. Even the futon mattress was extra thick and comfy. Beautiful area and very peaceful!!
