Stayed Jul 14, 2024Beautiful part of France, lots of things to do. The place location could not be better - literally few metres from the beach. We watched sunset every evening! All amenities are close by - markets, shops, supermarkets, castles etc. Wonderful stay.

Stayed Jun 2, 20231500 characters limit so impossible to go into detail about all that is problematic with this property and their misrepresentation of it. Highlights include: The property manager is a nightmare! We saved for years to be able to travel and honor loved ones who fought on these beaches and she was rude, judgmental, and condescending. We were clearly from the USA, yet the manager sent the initial correspondence (after the last day to cancel and receive a refund) completely in French. The information did not translate well. All of what was eventually disclosed could have been included in their VRBO description yet, it makes the property very unappealing. The parking and EV Charging station are down the street and public, good luck with that. The toilet is separated from the bed by a half wall, about 4.5 ft tall. Because the 2 rooms are separated by a public landing if the person sleeping in the kitchenette must use the bathroom in the night you need to let them in and leave the bedroom while they do their business. We were given 1 roll of toilet paper for 3 adults for 5 nights. You pay a cleaning fee yet you are told you must pay an additional 50 euro or clean it yourself. The person before us left coffee grounds on the countertops, water remaining in the kettle, a coffee pod remaining in the coffee maker, toilet paper wadded up on the floor of the bathroom, and a broken chair. Cleaning requires that you carry the rubbish nearly 1 mile to the disposal site.
