Stayed Jun 2, 2025Property description is accurate. Nice clean up to date apartment. I would mention the apartment is on the 3rd floor and there are stairs and we were not aware of that. Close to champagne houses but about one mile and 1/2 from shops and resturants. So walking hills is a must. Neighborhood is quiet and on a bus line. Inside hallway to apartment is very old and needs some sprucing up. All in all the apartment worked well for us but next time we would like to be closer to dinning options.

Stayed Oct 29, 2025Comfortable apartment in convenient location, easy walk into town but buses also run out front. Apartment is very quiet at night with good block out curtains/shutters.Host was a little light on for details about which apartment in the building (it’s on the 2nd floor, 2 flights of stairs up, and the code you are given is for the key lock at the front entrance) and also an issue with TV but she came around immediately next morning to sort out and was very pleasant to deal with. Kitchen could use some new utensils and knives not much better than cutting with a wet piece of paper, dishwasher also needs some rinse agent as I suspect Reims water has a lot of calcium in it.I’d stay again but for any guest with heavy luggage or mobility issues it may not be the most suitable accommodation as the 2 flights of stairs with luggage might be a problem.

Stayed Apr 1, 2025We really enjoyed our stay. The bathroom layout was a little quirky but fine. We did have issues finding parking upon arrival. Listing says on-sight parking so I assumed there was dedicated parking versus just street parking. If there hadn’t been so much road construction during our stay I don’t think it would have been an issue. We used the bus once but other than that walked everywhere. The meat shop and patisserie around the corner are amazing! My only suggestion would be that they have a few extra supplies -hangers, a spare blanket (especially needed when guests have kids) and an extra towel or 2 would have been nice. The owner did offer to bring a blanket but we did not want to impose. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. The blinds were great for blocking out light in the morning - great for sleepy teens.

Stayed Aug 21, 2024Apartment is in a very condition, kitchen as well as batheoom or beds. It was close city center (4 bus stops), but there are nice bakery and butcher just 150m away, once there, you can't ignore the huge church St. Remis. Landlord was always fast answering and flexible.

Stayed Nov 6, 2023A clean, spacious, well appointed apartment, a 30 minute walk from the city area. From a guest’s perspective there were many little things missing which we’ve come to expect from our many short stay vacations eg A ‘Welcome to my House’ booklet explaining how to use the appliances and other features. Simple issues could easily be fixed if the guest knew how to work them eg dishwasher, key lock and heaters. Easily fixed if given an explanation of use, in the guest’s language. A simple guide, map and bus timetable compilation booklet including places of interest, taxi numbers, suggested restaurants and the details about a great feature of Reims - the city bus, which we saw often but could not find out where or how to catch it. Such a booklet usually is always found in Airbnbs, guest houses etc and so helpful. Another really welcoming feature included in great stays is the thoughtful inclusion of 100mls of milk, dishwashing detergent, bath soap and a couple of scoops of washing powder. All to make international travelers’ stay an easy and pleasant one. We had some difficulty with communication but believe the fault lay with VRBO and not the host.
