Chalets Bougainville Standard Studio with Sea View

We had a great experience! The property is stunning and offers a good amount of privacy, while at the same time feeling very open with great views of their meticulously kept tropical garden and the turquoise blue Indian Ocean below. Maeggi and Joe are wonderful hosts and really care about your well being while on your holiday. They are full of advice on everything Seychelles; trips to take, things to do etc. We can't imagine our vacation without their help!

Our stay at Chalets Bougainville was absolutely fantastic! It's a real gem on Mahe, Seychelles and it's a place me and my wife would go back anytime again (and again...). The standard you get is top and the care these people put in to their property is simply amazing. This is a perfect little gem that's located very close to the nicest beaches you will ever visit with shops and restaurants nearby plus it's not even too long from the main town's center and airport plus shopping mall. The management is very attentive and super helpful, we have received superb tips on places to visit, beaches to check out, restaurants and food places to go and got best advise for literally everything we have done that week whilst staying at Chalets Bougainville. This place is perfect for couples that want and expect peace and quietness, a very nicely built chalet with everything that's needed for a great vacation. I can not thank the management enough for the great place they are offering and we will definitely be back in 2016/2017!

This place is magical. The view of the ocean from the studio is beautiful. It is identical to the photos. You'll realise that it is actually much more beautiful than what you can see in the photos when you get there. Maeggi and Joe put a lot of their effort to keep their place as impeccable as possible. Not only the apartments but also their garden. I couldn't give enough compliments to them how impeccable everything was during our stay! The spacious balcony with a dining table/chairs, two chaise-longues, and a low table was just perfect for a relax enjoying the beautiful view of the ocean listening to the sound of the waves. We've prepared most of our meals since we like going to local markets buy fresh stuff and cook. The kitchen is very well equipped with almost everything you need. When something wasn't there that we needed to use only once or twice, we went up to Maeggi and Joe's and they happily helped us if they could. The local farmers sell their fruit and vegetables near their farm just 5 mins drive away from Maeggi and Joe's as well as the place where fishermen bring their catch each morning is within 5 mins drive in Anse Royale. A small supermarket equipped with wide selection of imported products (yoghurt, wine, sauce, pasta, snacks, etc) is also in Anse Royale that is nearby. We've rented a car so that we could easily travel around the main island. We've actually gone around the whole island and we have found that to us the most beautiful beach was Anse Intendance that was within less than 10 - 15 mins drive from Maeggi and Joe's. Anse Intendance can become dangerous during a certain period of the year due to the high waves. In that case, there is always still beautiful Anse Royale that is also very popular only 5 mins away by car. Even without a car, you can still walk down the road and get to the nice small beach in 5 mins. Southern part of the island is perfect for those who want to have a peaceful and quiet vacation away from all the crowds. The place to me was better than a 5 star hotel with such a location with such a view, such cleanliness and maintenance, last but not least such hospitable and genuine owners. We really couldn't ask for more. Thank you again Maeggi and Joe for making our stay so perfect and pleasant. We now just cannot wait to go back to stay with you again.

We have just returned from having the most wonderful time at Chalet Bouganville. The view from the chalet is truly stunning and the lounge chairs are perfect for viewing the sun rise in the morning and for chilling out in the evening. The chalet is located in a private, quiet and serene area of the Seychelles, but local shops are never far away, which suited us perfectly for our honeymoon. We were very pleased to see the chalet cleaned so thoroughly on a daily basis. The kitchen is well stocked, very clean and all functioning well. We were happy to see that there is plenty of hanging and storage space and the safe is secure. Maeggi and Joe are very helpful and friendly. When there were minor problems with the chalet they dealt with them quickly and efficiently. They knew the island very well and gave us good advice on where to eat and where to visit. Maeggi has connections with one of the companies that organises island excursions so she was able to arrange some trips on our behalf. We have left our holiday feeling refreshed and relaxed.
