Stayed Jun 8, 2024Great home base for exploring the region. Everything at the apartment worked as described, if not better. Super clean and well thought-out. The pictures of the property don’t do justice to the actual layout and great views. It felt quite spacious to us. Glad to have found this property. Very prompt responses from the host made this a smooth trip. Thank you Eva.

Stayed May 26, 2024We deeply enjoyed our stay at this home. It was super convenient near the train station and Coop (grocery store chain). Had a wonderful view of the mountains with a balcony on 2 sides. It had all the items we needed for cooking and keeping the place tidy. The shower was super hot if you needed it to be and the tub was quite large (fit myself, a toddler, a baby in it together for a bubble bath). The amount of room overall was perfect for the 4 people in our party. There is ample storage for hiking or winter gear within the communal area for the building. Washer/dryer is in the building and easy to access and works well. Just 2 short flights of stairs down. The homeowner was really responsive throughout and the key access was thankfully right at the location of the home vs needing to trek to some random building. One recommendation is to have the instructions about recycling and other household items in English too. I think the print out was in German. Used Google Lens to translate it. The recycling and trash drop off is in two separate locations in town which took a bit of exploration to find. Trash (under the tunnel) and glass / metal recycling is next to train station down a hidden staircase. Note, this unit is not wheel chair accessible due to a gravel walk-way to get to the unit and or a really steep hill. Nobody in our party was in that situation, but just a fair warning to check other properties off the main street in Wengen if that applies to you.
