Chalet Roossi 2 is a recently built holiday apartment set in a quiet location with outstanding mountain and valley views from the panoramic windows and west-facing garden terrace. Located in the family-friendly car-free village of Wengen, 400m to the nearest supermarket, 450m to the village train station and 550m to the cable car, access to the mountains and ski areas is just a short walk away!



This modern duplex apartment sleeps up to 6 people and has 3 double bedrooms, eachwith 2 single / twin beds which can be pushed together or apart. All beds are European sizes. There are 2 bathrooms each with a bath, shower and WC.



This apartment has a very homely, comfortable ambience - the perfect choice for a family or a group of friends. It is airy and bright with floor-to-ceiling windows giving dazzling views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley and surrounding mountains. There is access to the wooden west-facing garden terrace from both the living room on the 1st floor and bedrooms on the ground floor. Here you can soak up the sunshine and views while enjoying a well-earned glass of wine and a plate of fine Swiss cheese after your day of hiking or skiing!



The open-concept living/dining and kitchen area is the perfect gathering place, making it easy to cook, eat, entertain and relax all in one space! The kitchen is fully equipped with all the items you need to cook for a group. With three cosy bedrooms and two modern bathrooms, this apartment is a great choice for a laid-back holiday in a magnificent Alpine setting!

What you should know...



Although Wengen is a car-free mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis are available for hire at Wengen train station if required.

    Great location just a few minute walk from train station and town. Perfect setup for four adults. If you have mobility issues the inside stairwell down to the bedrooms and bathrooms has no handrail and is steep. One bedroom upstairs but no bathroom on that level.

    Cozy and clean apartment in beautiful Wengen! The views were amazing, and the location was on the edge of town so it was peaceful, but still less than 10 minutes to walk to the train station or to get back to the restaurants in town. Many trails accessible right from this apartment, along with easy access to visit Mannlichen, Schilthorn, Kleine Scheidegg, Murren, Gimmelwald, Lauterbrunnen, and Interlaken. Breathtaking views everywhere we went. We loved walking by the beautiful homes with their intricate construction, and the flowers, and plenty of cows and sheep. We loved it all!

    Great location- 10 min walk from train station. Home was quiet, clean with well equipped kitchen for simple meals. We loved the village of Wengen with its easy access to Jungfraujoch, many hiking trail and wonderful restaurants.

    The condo is very comfortable. The only negative is that there is no bathroom on the main floor. Whoever stays in the bedroom on the top floor has to climb down the stairs in the night to use the restroom. There is no handrail and the stairs are steep. Den furniture is comfy and 2 bedrooms on the lower level are comfy with nice bathrooms. View is breathtaking.

    The chalet offers a splendid view over the vally at a quiet place. Still close enough to the railway station to provide a starting point for a lot of interesting walks in the surrounding mountains. The chalet is well equiped, has two bath rooms and a nice terrace. Most comfortable and to be recommended The mid stay cleaning was for us a bit unnecessary though done by a very kind and polite person. The bath towel could, be smaller, perhaps replaced by two smaller ones. In contrast to roossi3 roossi2 has no handrail at the stairs. The armchair has one of its supports broken? fixed with strong tape. We used it with care, it functioned, but may need attention from time to time.

    Julie and her staff were super responsive. The place was clean and comfortable. It's a quiet location with a beautiful view. Instructions for travelers on how to operate the appliances, such as the dishwasher, washer, and dryer, and also on how to get the electrical outlets working would be so helpful. We had to spend a lot of time figuring these things out.

    Well this was our first time staying in this region and we fell in love. The house was nice and clean and had really comfortable beds. Fully stocked kitchen and beautiful views! Highly recommend!
