Chalet Bergrose enjoys a central location. Transport-wise, Wengen railway station is only 250 m away up some steps. There is also an alternative 400 m route avoiding the steps. The nearest cable car and ski lifts are accessible by foot. The village ski slopes are nearby and scenic walks are practically on your doorstep! There are two supermarkets and a selection of restaurants, cafes and bars a short walk away, and you truly are in a great place to enjoy the chilled après-ski vibe in Wengen. Or simply relax on the southwest-facing garden terrace in the evening sunshine.



On the ground floor of this modern but traditionally styled alpine chalet, Bergrose 1 is a contemporary 2-bedroom apartment. The bright open-plan living space has stylish contemporary furnishings offering a comfortable place to relax and enjoy the views of the mountains along with a 4-seater dining area. The kitchen has attractive modern styling providing all you should need to create wonderful feasts. An electric ceramic stovetop, fan-assisted oven, fridge freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle and Nespresso coffee machine are just some of the delights that await!



The apartment has two good-sized bedrooms, the first is a double bedroom, which effortlessly combines modern style with characterful touches and has a king-sized bed and handy desk workstation. The second bedroom offers the flexibility of two single beds that can be pushed together if required. The double bedroom enjoys the luxury of an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The second bathroom has a bathtub and overhead shower.



The apartment has under-floor central heating throughout and offers shared laundry facilities, and little touches such as a milk frother in the kitchen and hair dryers in the bathrooms ensure you have what you need at hand.

What you should know...



Although Wengen is a car-free mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is a 12-minute scenic train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis or luggage transport are available for hire upon arrival at Wengen train station if required.



As part of your booking, a mandatory non-refundable damage waiver of CHF 35 is required. This waiver offers you protection against accidental damage during your stay, ensuring peace of mind without the need for a traditional refundable security deposit.
