Chalet Am Acher 7 is a recently built 2-bedroom 3rd-floor holiday apartment conveniently located in the heart of the family-friendly car-free village of Wengen! Just a 230m level walk from Wengen train station and 330m from the cable car, access to mountain hiking and ski areas is literally on your doorstep!



The apartment sleeps 4 people:



Bedroom 1 = 1 double king-size bed

Bedroom 2 = 2 single / twin beds (can be pushed together - no bed frame between)



All beds are European sizes.



Bathroom 1 = en-suite with bathtub with shower overhead and WC

Apartment location - being just a 280m level walk from Wengen train station, 230m to the nearest supermarket and 400m to the cable car and nursery ski slopes, hiking trails and ski areas are on your doorstep!



Chalet Am Acher 7 is spacious and bright with great views and a sunny aspect from its large south-west facing covered balcony. Inside, the spacious open-concept living, dining and kitchen area is the perfect gathering place, making it easy to cook, eat, entertain and relax all in one space!



Warm your toes in front of a roaring fire in the Swedish wood burner while enjoying a glass of wine and some fine Swiss cheeses after a day of hiking or skiing. Netflix is provided if you just want to relax and watch a movie or TV show. Or you can simply soak in the exquisite panoramic views of the Jungfrau, Breithorn, Tschingelhorn and Gspaltenhorn from the floor-to-ceiling windows or while dining al fresco on the balcony.



The well-equipped kitchen is sleek and modern and comes with a Nespresso pod machine for your morning coffee. The modern bathrooms are spacious and immaculate. Whether in winter or summer, this apartment is a superb choice for an attractive laid-back base in a magnificent Alpine setting!

What you should know...



Although Wengen is a car-free mountain village, arriving by car is no problem. There is a large multi-storey car park at Lauterbrunnen train station, with trolleys for your luggage and lifts to the station platforms. It is just a 14-minute scenic cog train ride up to Wengen. The trains depart every 30 minutes until 9.30 pm and then hourly. Taxis or luggage transport are available for hire upon arrival at Wengen train station if required.



Note that there is access to the higher street level behind the chalet from the same floor the apartment is located on (3rd floor). From there, it is a more level walk into central Wengen. There is also a lift/elevator in the chalet for easy access to all floors.



As part of your booking, a mandatory non-refundable damage waiver of CHF 35 is required. This waiver offers you protection against accidental damage during your stay, ensuring peace of mind without the need for a traditional refundable security deposit.

    We had a truly memorable stay at this charming apartment in Wengen. It struck the perfect balance between cozy and spacious, blending modern amenities with traditional Alpine charm. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning - though the chilly weather kept us from enjoying the outdoor furniture as much as we'd have liked! Inside, everything was spotless and well-maintained, with high-end sanitary fittings that added a touch of luxury. The included washer and drier came in handy. The location was ideal: just a short 230m walk from the train station (downhill then level to the apartment - our kids managed it easily). The nearby COOP made it convenient to grab supplies, and we appreciated being slightly tucked away from the main foot traffic of the town. A special shout-out to Wengen Apartments, the rental agency. Their web-based accommodation guide was incredibly thorough, covering everything from check-in to appliance use and garbage disposal. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate our daughter's birthday and were consistently responsive and helpful before and throughout our stay. We would absolutely recommend both the apartment and the agency to anyone visiting Wengen. It was a delightful experience from start to finish. No notes

    What a pristine, well-appointed, perfectly located apartment with an amazing view! Perfect for us and our two boys to have space to relax and have breakfast (and pack lunches) before our daily adventures. Super comfortable beds too. And nice touches like a chess set and other games. Many meals were spent on the lovely deck (it’s hard to overstate that view!). We stayed 6 nights and were very sad to leave. We hope to return soon and stay again in this unit! I think it was hotter than normal when we visited (even for the season)—a fan or mobile AC unit might be helpful during the hottest days of summer. The unit does have great dual open windows for fresh air circulation.

    We found the apartment to be extremely comfortable and very well appointed. We were able to eat all of our meals, including dinner, in the apartment. The location is just perfect - a 2 minute walk from the train station and even closer to the supermarket. We couldn't have been happier.

    A beautiful, comfortable apartment in the perfect location with a spectacular view. Well managed down to the laminated directions on using the coffee maker and laundry machines. Nice having a staffed office in town to speak to on any issues. We had never been to Wengen before, the town is built on quite a slope. Am Archer is on the same elevation as the train station and grocery store making it much more convenient than the buildings on the edge of town. The only suggestion I can think of is upgrade the towels.

    We had a great stay in this apartment. Was perfect for 3 adults, everyone had some space. We used the kitchen most nights, it was well stocked. Julie was very helpful with information before we arrived, check in was a breeze. And it was a great location, very scenic, easy walk to the Wengen train station and restaurants.
