Cetacea Luxury Apartments - 3 Bedroom Lake View Apartment

We stayed for 4 nights and attended the Sapphire Coast cup on Saturday and Sunday. The apartment was in a great location, clean and the manager Paula was lovely. However, the apartment was lacking in basic supplies such as decent water glasses, a good frypan and kitchen utensils. such as serving bowls and salad servers. Also, the toilet seat in the master bathroom had obviously been replaced with one that did not fit at all. There was an unsuitably small toilet seat on a large toilet bowl which could have led to a nasty pinching incident!!! I understand that the owners do not want to spend extra money on these things, but in an apartment as nice as this, it really is a let down when the smaller things are not addressed Get a toilet seat that fits correctly. These are the sort of things that would make potential guests look at something else as there are a lot of options in Fishpen Road.

We stayed here because it had a heated pool and the kids like to swim. The apartment itself was well equipped and comfortable for the Family - however I feel it was overpriced. I have stayed at similar properties for half the price and had better service. We stayed 3 nights and were provided with 1 bin liner, no dishwashing liquid. Although self contained- most similar properties provide the basics for the duration of the stay. And a complementary sachet of laundry liquid as well. For the price tag I expected this. We also experienced a scheduled maintenance power outage by the local power company on our first morning - although outside of the control of management- they didn’t inform us of the outage because they were unaware of the it. Not a big deal but advance notice would have made it easier to sort breakfast for the kids. Location is nice, kids had fun, walking distance to town, supermarket, park and beach. Overall a nice stay - but at this price point I won’t be returning. Put simply there are similar places in the same block for half the price with the same features.

We had a lovely stay and Jeannette was very helpful. A tiny issue with flat batteries in the TV remote but Jeanette seemed willing to help with anything we needed to enjoy our stay.
