Stayed Nov 11, 2025Everything is as advertised. Bed and accommodations were comfortable. The beach is right there.Easy to find with said directions. There is no air-conditioning as it is an off grid accommodation, but there was an adequate fan.I would not recommend this place if you are not a fan of dogs.

Stayed Dec 16, 2022Cerritos Beach Palace was a wonderful place to stay for two weeks of relaxation. We had between 4 and 7 people during our stay, starting with Casa Gaia and Studio Gaia then adding Casa Roca. Two other sets of guests used Casa Roca when we weren't and while we saw them the property is large enough that we all had our own space. The property is well secured, fully fenced and home to two dogs. Being right on the beach is wonderful! It's like having your own private beach with plenty of waves for body surfing. It's about a 30 minute walk North on the sand to Cerritos Beach where the resort crowd hangs out. There are surf board rentals and lessons available there and places to eat. If you actually want to surf on a board then it's best to go there as the waves break better for surfing. But if you just want to hang on the beach then stay at the Palace! There are palapas with tables and chairs right at the property and no crowds. The Palace is just off the highway and very quiet. The only noise is the crashing of the waves that lull you to sleep at night. Star gazing at night is a must, no light pollution like in the cities so the sky is full of stars and planets. Fred is an excellent host, friendly and full of local knowledge. Whatever you are looking for, shopping, eating, activities, Fred will give you honest local advice. Fully recommend this property as a base for your explorations or just to get away from it all.

Stayed Apr 4, 2022The house worked perfectly for our family. The 4 of us (adults and 2 kids 11 and 16) were in the main house and my mother in law was in the studio. As a blended family on our first big vacation sharing this space worked so well! Having the beach just steps away and Cerritos main beach just a mile walk down the beach or short drive was perfect. Fred was so easy to communicate with leading up to the trip and during our stay. Some tips from our stay: *CRT Surf School at Cerritos Beach for surf lessons *Explora Baja for whale shark and sea lion excursion *Over The Edge Sports (Dave Thompson) for MTB rides *BBB car rental *As Fred suggested, stopping in Cabo for groceries after arriving and then heading up to the house worked out so well to have food for the week (breakfasts, coffee, etc) We also ate great meals out -Tre Galline and Jazamango in Todos Santos and Baracuda at Cerritos Beach.

Stayed Mar 3, 2019We rented both Casa Gaia and the Studio below it with three couples. It made for perfect accommodations and had room to spare if families were larger. Two spacious bedrooms upstairs with an open living room, kitchen, and bar, plenty of hang-out space and dining table. The upper outdoor patio was a great place to start the morning looking out onto the beach. Both indoor and outdoor hot water showers were great. Beach hang-out spots were also great. Separate palapas for guest in the main house and for those where we stayed. A swinging hammock and air-mattress bed palapa were great for napping on the beach. If taking quiet walks on the beach is your thing, this is the place. It's a nice walk up to the main surf hangout at Los Cerritos to the north and a virtually uninhabited walk for 4+ miles to the south. You'll come across the occasional couple but you pretty much have the beach to yourself. It's a short 5 min drive to El Pescadero on good roads and another 20 min up the road to Todos Santos for banking and a little bigger town feel. It takes about an hour to get there from the airport if you take the toll road and the directions are pretty straight forward. Our host, Fred, was available when needed, but otherwise, we were not interrupted. He even gave us a loan of Pasos on the night of our arrival since we hadn't made it to the bank to exchange dollars and needed to make a trip up to El Pescadero for dinner after a late arrival. Fred's got some beginner surfboards and toys for playing in the waves available to rent as well.

Stayed Jun 3, 2018We loved the place! We chose to stay in Casa Gaia and Studio Gaia, which are both beautiful. The open layout of the upstairs is wonderful and the beach is right out front of the property. It was very clean and comfortable and the owners were kind and helpful. I definitely suggest staying here.
