The Treehouse Studio is the second (top) floor of a freestanding building behind our house in French Place, providing plenty of privacy. Within a 15-20 minute walk to the Moody Center, the Bass Concert Hall, St. Davids Hospital, the UT sports complex and the University of Texas campus, you can avoid (the sometimes horrendous) event traffic and parking fees. The neighborhood also has many great restaurants, bars, coffee shops and even a fringy theater company, all within a few minutes walk.<

Stayed May 8, 2025My son graduated from UT and this property was the perfect choice. Plenty of room to visit and make a meal as well as within walking distance of graduation ceremonies. Perfect in all categories.

Stayed Jun 4, 2023This clean, modern, well kept studio had everything we needed to make a two week stay comfortable. High ceilings, large windows, and skylights give it a nice, open feeling. It is located in a fun and safe old Austin neighborhood with many restaurants within walking distance. UT is less than a 5 minute drive away. Kim and Lanny are great hosts - always available and friendly. Highly recommend this space. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed Dec 12, 2021This East Austin studio is lovely. I've stayed here twice now--it's perfect for my needs. A 30 minute walk to the Ransom Center, very close to a number of great restaurants, and bus stop right around the corner. The studio is well- appointed and entirely comfortable. I feel very much at home here! Communication with the host, Kim, is excellent. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
