Stayed Sep 2, 2025The apartment is a lovely space in an Inverness neighborhood. We found the apartment very comfortable. It is a bit far to the city center but a doable 15 minute walk. There is a grocery store really close by. At the start we navigated to Telford road instead of telford avenue so beware to not make our mistake and when walking into Inverness we liked navigating across Grant bridge. Locking the door in the way out is a bit tricky for Americans who don’t usually have that type of lock mechanism. You have to lift up the handle as you turn the key. A quiet charming street, we had a nice stay here.

Stayed Sep 10, 2025A contractor for the host entered the unit without my awareness or permission. He was dropping off supplies for a future visit - nothing I requested - and knocked on the door. The owner did not tell me that anyone would be coming or leave notice that anyone might enter the apartment. This is a serious safety and privacy concern, and all to drop off something for the unit that I had not requested. The owner offered a meager apology but ignored further requests for a policy change to stop dropping off unrequested supplies while the unit is rented or a night's rent refunded due to the ordeal.

Stayed Aug 6, 2025Having come in from America, there are so many differences in Scotland. We couldn’t figure out why the water didn’t come on at night, well you had to pull the cord. Little things like that. I think listing those types of things would’ve been very helpful for us on a little cheat sheet in the unit. Locking the door was a challenge, but we finally figured it out too. Little things like that. but the unit is very comfortable and well laid out.
