This is a free standing two story casita in a downtown neighborhood sharing the property and pool with owner. The bedroom is upstairs, with the kitchen, living area, and bathroom downstairs. The casita has a fully equipped kitchen. There is an on site driveway for parking with a locked gate.

We are an easy walk to the malecón, marina, plazas, shops, restaurants and the oldest mission in the Californias.

There is resident cat who is very, very friendly, and likes to interact with guests, so probably not a good fit if you are allergic or just don’t like cats.

The pool is not heated, so it’s likely to be too cold in the winter to use. Some guests have used it, but only people from very cold climates!

More than available, our host was open, and provided plenty of useful information and tips, and helped connect us with local resources and activities. Located across the patio from the main house, the casita is very private and our host was very respectful of our privacy. The casita was beautiful with a balcony from the bedroom to watch the sun rise. The location in a residential neighborhood was just a few blocks from the waterfront boardwalk, and a few blocks from the pedestrian walkway, while still just a few blocks from the grocery stores and other essentials. We loved receiving daily visits from our host's cat.

A very nice property with lots of outdoor space. Location was very central to walk to the Malecon de Loreto, the historic squares, the walking street or one of the many restaurants.

The Casita is so beautiful and has a unique style! We loved everything about the place. Good area, really cozy, private and safe. Elizabeth is a great hostess and caring. She did respond to our communications and assisted us greatly. She gave us helpful tips about the area. We will love to be back to Casita in Loreto.

We loved that everything was within walking distance. Elizabeth had our temporary home perfectly stocked with everything needed for our stay, including great books on the history of Loreto. Safe and secured location. Bedroom was large with amble closet space and comfy bed. We loved, and welcomed our daily visitor, Chachi, Elizabeth’s male cat. Thank you Elizabeth for all your knowledge and advice and making this the most memorable, relaxing trip ever. We will definitely be seeing you again soon!

We were looking for a Mexican retreat and found it at Elizabeth’s casita. The property and location were as described;short walk to central Loreto,Malecon , shopping and various shops and eating establishments. Elizabeth was welcoming, respectful and responsive . The property was lovely and all the amenities we were looking for were there or easily accessible.

Beautiful 2-storey suite facing a pool overhung with bougainvillea. Lovely wide balcony and a wall of windows off the spacious bedroom. Just a few blocks from town square where there is a choice of good restaurants. About 5-6 blocks to malecon. Host Elizabeth was welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend booking Oscar for a trip to San Javier mission. He is a careful driver and has encyclopaedic knowledge of local history.
