Casa Nardi Apartment RED house

We had a nice stay and everything we needed.The appartment was perfect for us 5 and well equiped.The pool was warm and big.Maria was always friendly and helpful.

I can't be positive enough about the owner of this property! She is lovely, responsive to everything, and made us feel as though we were family. For us personally, her location is perfect because our daughter, son-in-law and granddaughter live an easy 10-minute stroll from the property. This landlady was much more than that for me: I feel I've made a special friend!

As a family of 5 with two teenagers and a 10 year old the apartment really met our needs. It is much more spacious than the photos show and having two bathrooms was great. The apartment is designed to stay cool and the fan helped however doesnt have a full AC system. The pool was really great and the whole property has lots of outside space. Maria was so helpful and welcoming.. We would recommend this to our friends as a great base from which to tour Tuscany

The Nardis were very welcoming and helped us with several questions we had about the area. We were doing day trips (Pisa, Cinque Terre, Lucca, Siena, winery stops) as well as spending time in Florence. The house was central to it all. We used the train to get into Florence (give yourself extra time to buy the ticket; only one machine was working at Montelupo and we missed two trains waiting for the line of people to get their tickets) which was great because parking was difficult unless you wanted to walk extra miles (after walking all day and hitting 7 miles, we didn't want to walk an extra mile to get to our car!). Maria Nardi helped us figure out the trains too. The pool was great with the heat. We used the clothes line in the back to dry our clothes. It really did feel like home.

Charming, clean and well maintained 2nd floor apartment in the tuscan countryside. Very comfortable for my family of 5. Clean and inviting pool. Great to take a dip at the end of a hot day of sightseeing. Maria and her husband were very pleasant and easy to communicate with. Went to Montelupo Fiorentino every night for delicious gelato and great shops. I look forward to returning to Casa Nardi in the future!

In July/August we stayed at Nardi house for two weeks. The studio downstairs is brand new and we were the first guests to stay there. It is equiped with antique furniture fitting very well in this modernized traditional house. It gives a great atmosphere. As there were no other guests we were allowed to use the big apartment upstairs, luxuriously equipped to lodge 8 guests. The apartments are located at the border of a big garden where one enjoy the shadow of a tree or near the small vegetable garden. In the garden there are fruit trees, producing lots of wild prunes, ready for consumption or to make jam. The host will tell you how. The hosts are Giovanna and Sergio. It is easy to make friends with them. Once you show your interest, they will tell you all about the village, the surrounding towns and interesting trips to make. They were so kind as to accompany us when we wanted to visit a traditional live oil-producing farm and other places of interest. Nardi house is located very strategically. Florence and many other ancient towns and places of interest are all within reasonable driving distance. Dear Giovanna and Sandra, we hope to see you again! Sandra and Gert Jan
