Stayed Mar 17, 2025We have stayed at this location 3 times, previously with different management so we knew the location etc. The woman who cleans is great and the property is well maintained by a person who is friendly and helpful.

Stayed Feb 21, 2025The location of Casa Happy Sol is nicely tucked away in a quiet part of town. The suite was spacious with a large kitchen.The outdoor area was a nice feature. Everything else was meh. Not very clean, an overwhelming smell of musk, and the decor seemed like a mismatched array of hand-me-downs.. The bathroom was especially of note in regards to the smell and a mouldy wall. Your neighbours will also make or break this experience as noise travels. We were grateful to have great neighbours in two of the suites but the third enjoyed drinking heavily and yelling throughout the night. I did communicate this with the host and he did respond promptly about a water issue but not much else. We ended up leaving a night early and were told we would be refunded for our last night but I am still waiting for the payment. I think the suites have potential if a little bit of attention was given to remodelling and cleanliness. Could also be a nice idea to stock a few basics in the kitchen like coffee, salt and pepper, etc. All that said, it was on the cheaper end of accommodations so it will work for you if you have low expectations. But I think there are better places available in this price range.
