Stayed Sep 26, 2025The kitchen had modern up to date appliances. Limited basic cooking and dining supplies. Notes on houseThe house is in an excellent location, close to shopping and walking trails in the foothills. That said, the house has some issues. This house has a lot of levels. Anywhere you go, you have to step up or step down. It wasn’t the ideal set up for our elderly mother and siblings to visit. The house is in general disrepair. Pealing plaster from water damage and water damage on ceilings. Weeds in the backyard. There also a lack of basics like dish towels. Only one dish towel provided and no dish cloths. No tissues anywhere. The sink in the on-suite had a constant drip, there is a crack in the tub and the shower door is rusted and loose. The doors to the upper deck do not lock, and the laminate flooring used on the stairs to the second level is slick. The flooring the kitchen area is loose, peeling and curling. The home appears wonderful in the pictures but does not live up to expectations. There are rentals that are a better value in the general area.

Stayed Dec 27, 2024If your travels take you to El Paso this is a fantastic property! Home was exactly as advertised in West El Paso - Very clean and inviting with all necessities provided. Check-in & checkout was hassle free. The host, Carlos & Martha, were very friendly, quick & responsive to any and all questions. The home is very comfy & quite roomy at the same time. Large kitchen & living area for family gatherings! Backyard is private with a large patio and firepit for those cool El Paso evenings. We stayed over the holidays & they had a 15' tall lit Christmas tree in the dining room - VERY nice touch!!Definitely will stay again on our trips to beautiful El Paso!! Scott

Stayed Sep 25, 2023The pictures don’t do this property justice. This home is absolutely the highest level of comfort. I felt completely comfortable staying alone in this property. All the amenities I could ask for were provided. The host could not have been nicer with my travel related issues and went out of their way to make sure I had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend booking this property if it’s available. I promise you will not regret it. One of the nicest stays in El Paso.

Stayed Dec 9, 2022I rented this property because I was graduating this past weekend from UTEP with my MFA. I loved the property from the photos and was pleasantly surprised when I got there. It was more than what I imagined. The Christmas tree was beautiful. Overall, it was a really good stay.

Stayed Jun 4, 2022Casa Del Sol is such a beautiful home. It’s very welcoming. You feel like you’re at home. The location is perfect with the beautiful view of the mountains. And what’s even better is that the home is super clean. Definitely will look into this rental home when we go to El Paso again. I can’t wait!!
