Accommodating, clean.
This was a quiet retreat with comfortable beds and a cozy sunroom I enjoyed my coffee in every morning. Check in was easy and upon request I was provided with an array of good eats and places to visit.
Loved staying here, great host and great location close to Boston and Salem!
My daughter and I loved our stay in Winthrop. We drove up from Pa to visit Salem and Boston for a long weekend. This place was a nice retreat from the 2 busy cities. The neighborhood was super cute, the place was clean, and the beds were cozy. Frankie was also quick to respond and left many town suggestions!
Fun
Great location for exploring Boston away from the city. Taking the Ferry into Boston is easy and fun.
The house was clean and spacious. It also had beautiful woodwork. The neighborhood is adorable. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Frank will provide you with a list before your trip.
Great Location, really enjoyed our stay here., the beds were really comfortable. Would stay again.
Property was exactly as advertised - clean, convenient, and Frank was very easy to communicate with. He even provided us with all kinds of recommendations for transportation, and places to eat and visit. Would definitely book again if needed.
We picked the place because of its closeness to Boston and the pictures make it look nice. It does seem like a safe neighborhood and the beds were very comfortable. However, the couch has a tear in it, the cabinet doors in the kitchen are about to fall off at any moment, and there was shampoo/conditioner but no body wash or soap. Also, when we arrived, there was no note or anything welcoming us, telling us about the wifi, laundry, or anything. I had to text and wait for a response. In addition, this is a 2nd floor apartment and the stairs to get up there can be very tricky, especially with luggage. There is also someone who lives on the 3rd floor and whenever they are walking around, you can here the floors creaking. It is a little weird when you are watching tv or eating dinner and someone is walking above you and you can hear it. Overall, it is an ok place to stay, but not worth the amount of money we paid for the two nights.
Apartment was really spacious and well equipped. It's location was excellent and easy to get to local shops and further afield like Boston. Would happily book this apartment again.
A home away from home! It was warm, cozy and beautiful! We will be returning.
Perfect place near the airport, everything you could need was provided, nice neighborhood with plenty of options for food delivery (very important! ?)
This was the perfect location: quiet, safe and still within walking distances to coffee and eating places. The house itself was clean and cozy.
Wonderful place to stay near Logan. Very nice neighborhood near water. Cute place with all amenities, including parking.
Frank was wonderful. Very responsive to questions and needs. The location was great, easy to get to the beach and anyplace else we wanted to go. Would definitely recommend.
Our host was spectacular! He was friendly, informative, and very accommodating. The property is perfect for two couples vacationing together. The location is amazing. We were so comfortable and happy - we could’ve stayed forever!
We stayed here 3 nights with our two young adult kids. Winthrop is a beautiful town. We took long walks around the neighborhood, and were able to see the Boston skyline and planes taking off from Logan. The front and back decks were great! We took the Winthrop Ferry into the city, and it was a great way to see the city from the water. We also used the local bus to the Blue Line and Uber. All were great options to get to the city. We ate at La Fiesta and Nick’s in Winthrop for great meals. We highly recommend as a quiet place outside of the city.
Frankie's place what just what we needed for our Girls Weekend. We wanted to explore Boston but not pay dearly for a really small place. This was perfect. It had enough room for all of us, a porch to enjoy the night air, a kitchen with a dishwasher and there was easy access to Boston. Frankie suggested we take the ferry into Boston and that was the best! It only operates on weekdays, but we enjoyed it while we could. Frankie was very responsive to our questions and gave us great tips on the area.
Frankie’s house was perfect in configuration and location for our Family of four and my parents. Plenty of space for all of us without feeling cramped. Close to cute downtown center of Winthrop, beaches, restaurants and Boston. We walked all over the place and had a wonderful time, looking forward to our next visit.
Enjoyed my stay here. Good location. Clean place. Would stay here again.
Had a wonderful place to stay! would highly recommend this getaway for families and everyone! neighborhood was quiet. Great place to walk with kids! City is close proximity to house. Can get to city by bus, car or transit!
We used this property as both a hangout and home base for day trips to Portland, Maine, Salem, Boston, and Nahant. It was a quick drive to the airport and we enjoyed the neighborhood. Picked up groceries at Winthrop Market, and enjoyed food from Nick’s Place and Odyssey.
We were in town for the Boston Marathon and this was a tremendous pace to stay. Easy access to downtown, public transit and the airport. Accommodations were comfortable and welcoming. Very close to food options in Winthrop and the beach. Communication was great from check-in to check-out. I would absolutely stay here again.
