Stayed Apr 3, 2026Perfect location. Host was very nice and responded quickly when I sent messages. Room was clean. View was beautiful. Close to all the popular spots like Starlight Theater, Ghost Town, Venga, La Kiva and Big Bend parks. Would stay here again.

Stayed Mar 9, 2026Everything was clean and well kept. There are other rentals close by, but we never felt crowded. There is a great view of the Chisos mountains and I watched the sun come up every morning over them! Beds were comfortable. Seating is limited outdoors and not very comfortable. Wake up, drink coffee, go to the park, come back, shower, eat out, then sleep...this place is perfect for that.

Stayed Mar 20, 2026Incredible view, during day and stargazing at night. View of sunrise behind the mountains from the bed if you open the curtains. Casa de areo had a lot of thoughtful aspects and artsy designs. It was very cute and added a lot to our experience in big bend (more than just a place to stay). Equipped with fridge, coffee, A/C, microwave, a nice BBQ with propane supplied, kitchen and dining supplies, A/C. Lovely owners too.

Stayed Feb 15, 2026The location was excellent. A midpoint between the convenience of study butte and the cool ghost town of Terlingua.

Stayed Feb 6, 2026The host was on site and very helpful. He showed us how to use the heater--electric and gas when we arrived even though the day was sunny and hot, and he had just turned on the AC in the airstream. I was not very worried. But I woke at 4am--freezing. I was so thankful for the electric heater. We turned it on the following evenings before going to sleep. Bed was comfortable. We definitely used the coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. There is a grill with a burner outside, but we didn't need it. The airstream even has stained glass! The outside shower is charming with artsy touches.

Stayed Nov 23, 2025Great location, amazing views, comfortable beds, convenient amenities, and welcoming hosts. Windows and doors were a bit of a challenge on this vintage Airstream, and being that it’s close to the road there’s a good deal of traffic noise. But would absolutely recommend.

Stayed Oct 31, 2025The host was helpful and made us feel welcome. The airstream camper was adorable and cozy. I especially loved the outdoor shower with the Mountain View. My daughter and I enjoyed our stay very much.
