Stayed Jan 29, 2020This was an ideal place to stay in many ways. The old-town is quiet, with no vehicular through-traffic, right on Lake Lugano and adjacent to Mount Caslano, a nature preserve. It is a five-minute walk to a grocery store and health-food store, and another seven minutes to a second grocery store and the FLP train station which connects Ponte Tresa, on the Italian border, and Lugano, 23 minutes away. The apartment has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and is just as described, with everything functional.
