Carvoeiro Travel, 100m from Carvoeiro Beach

Our stay at this apartment was wonderful! Comfortable bed, kitchen was stocked with dishware, pots & frying pans, clean well-functioning appliances (we didn’t use the oven but am sure it was in working condition), nice bathroom complete with washing machine (clothesline from balcony) and a good size living room space to relax in after a long day of exploring. Great quiet location close to everything we needed or wanted. We didn’t rent a car but from Carvoeiro we easily got transportation (usually Bolt) to all beaches and places of interest as far as Sagres to the west and Faro to the east, and Mt Fòia for an excellent hike. Our host responded to all of our enquiries quickly and sent someone to unlock the apartment door one day when we locked ourselves out. Our host also arranged two housekeeping dates which were most appreciated - the apartment was beautifully cleaned both times - our thanks to the housekerpers . We would highly recommend this apartment in Carvoeiro . Thank you ..

A comfortable apartment right in centre of Carvoeiro. It is well laid out and spacious. Unfortunately the lift was broken when we stayed which meant carrying our luggage up and down the 6 flights of stairs. There was a lack of basic complementary items(tea/coffee,toilet roll etc) Overall though an enjoyable experience.

Location is great. Host is friendly. However; There was alot of ants in the apartment which we had to use anti-ant spray. Lights are very dim. Sheets were fine . Otherwise everything was ok.

Due to Ryanair we started our holiday four days late, but I must say this was no fault of HomeAway. But getting to our apartment at 01-00 in the morning we were ready to sleep right away. On the first visit to the bathroom, my wife found one towel with blood stains and also the other towels were poor quality. On going to bed (there were to singles) one had a very bad smell, and the bottom sheet looked as if it had been used and not been changed. One of us slept on the sofa for the night. The next morning we stripped the bed. The mattress cover was badly stained. We turned the mattress over to air and washed all sheets. In our opinion the bed and mattress should be replaced. the pillow slips were clean but the pillows were very yellow looking and uncomfortable. these also we feel need replacing . This apartment could be very nice to stay at, as it is very close to all that we needed for our holiday (cafes,bars,shops and seafront) but the owner and the agent INTERREAL in Carvoeiro need to contact each other, as we would never pay £600 for 14 nights in the future, there are nicer apartments (some with views) and do not cost so much. Sorry HomeAway, but will not be using your booking site again.
