It had everything we needed. Walking distance to restaurants.

The location was close to downtown and we loved biking and walking around. We enjoyed learning more about the Gullah culture , including a tour with Hidden Treasures. The apartment was super clean with new kitchen pans and utensils.

Everything was nice and cozy.

Wedding weekend -Tarheel retreat was the perfect cozy escape for us.Clean, tidy and comfy cozy- well appointed. Attention to detail was 5 stars!! Will definitely return and highly recommend this spot! Communication with owner was great.

We love Bluffton and this is cute, quaint apartment with easy access to old town. Perfect or our 3 day stay.

A very charming guest place. Very attractively decorated , very comfortable king size bed. Everything fresh about the place. Great proximity to village of Bluffton. Was perfect for our visit of family living in Bluffton.

Place was just as advertised. Everything was new and nicely done and plenty of room

WE only opened the door on Wed. Afternoon and looked at the accommodations that were just as described.We had overbooked our Wed night stay and so didn’t need that evening. On Thurs.(Thanksgiving) we decided to drive home (to avoid the weekend traffic,) so we didn’t stay there at all.Consider it a Holiday bonus The parking area and entrance to the property were disappointing but would welcome improvement.

This was the perfect setup for us for the week. Great amenities, lovely decor, and super comfy bed. Loved having restaurants and coffee shops so close! We walked to them a few times, which was so nice.

Very convenient to get to many restaurants but also got an Uber quickly to come home later. Quiet, clean, comfy bed, cozy felt like we were in a tree house.

The Carriage House has everything you need for a wonderful stay in Bluffton. We found it very clean, comfy and cozy! Just as pictured! Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The property manager was very responsive if we had any questions Would highly recommend and look forward to our next visit to Bluffton.

This was my second stay at the Bluffton carriage house while in town for business, and it was just as wonderful as the first. The location makes it easy to handle work in town, but it also gave me the chance to turn the weekend into a little getaway. The property itself is charming, comfortable, and well kept. The real standout, though, is the property manager — absolutely extraordinary in making sure we had everything we needed. I’ll definitely be back again!

Well appointed carriage house, had everything you could want/need. Exceptionally clean, comfortable bed and up-to-date furnishings. We were thrilled with the availability of ground coffee for the morning! It was a rainy night in Bluffton and we were more than happy to just hang out at at our “home” away from home. Oh….and it also has a washer and dryer which is great for longer stays. 5 Star!

This place is so comfortable, clean and quaint! I really appreciate that this VRBO accommodated a one-night stay. Carriage house was immaculate. Bed and linens were very comfortable. Loved that there was a kitchenette with fully stocked coffee station and bottled waters. Walkable to dinner @ The Farm & Olde Towne shops. Communication was great with host!

Clean and larger than expected! The property manager is very responsive which we appreciated. Great location - I walked to nearby shops, restaurants and most importantly Alljoy donuts!

Tarheel Retreat is a great location to enjoy all that Old Town Bluffton has to offer on foot, is a short drive to the north end of Hilton Head and a little further drive to the south end of Hilton Head and Savannah. Very comfortable accommodations to rest up after a busy day of sightseeing.

Great room above the garage. Walkable to food, parks and view of the beautiful May.

Overall we had a great time with a few exceptions. It was cold in the room and the unit apparently was not working correctly. Stephen, the property manager was prompt in bringing a space heater which worked well. Overall cleanliness was fair. whenarrived, no toilet paper and

Your property was an easy drive for us from Claxton, Georgia. Only 1 1/2 hours. I am originally from SC so was looking forward to being back on SC properties! The VRBO worked perfectly for the 2 of us. Appreciated the little amenities -- bottled water and breakfast bars. Location was great for walking to restaurants. Would suggest further taping down ot the rug near the bed. Edges have pulled away and people could slip. Our son and daughter-in-law will be booking this property in the future as we highly recommended it to them for a short getaway. Thanks!

This is a fantastic carriage house. Extremely clean. Comfortable but elegant. Walking distance to several restaurants and to a river park. Host is very responsive. We definitely would stay here again.

Convenient location, clean and quiet!

We were attending the wedding of a family member in the area and this property met our needs perfectly. Spacious, comfortable, clean, with all necessities one would need, including a well appointed small kitchen. We have been vacationing @Hilton Head Island for 38 years, but never explored much off island. What a delightful town Bluffton is. Simply charming, with great shops and restaurants.We wouldn’t hesitate to return when we are next in the area and highly recommends this property.

The guest house was perfect for a couple, walkable to old town and an easy drive to HHI. Bed was very comfy, I would definitely recommend!

It was the perfect size for us for the 2 of us for three nights. Everything worked as it should have. We could walk to the restaurants we had made reservations for and the waterfront park was also a short walk away!
