Capitol Hill Delight With Patio

The owner was very responsive when we left the apartment unlocked. We called immediately and they locked it for us without any complaint. Nice neighborhood in downtown DC. Very clean with comfortable bed and shower. A very good experience all together.

Great layout with new kitchen, lots of light, and a wonderful spa shower with every kind of spray and plentiful, steady hot water. Our host made sure everything was perfectly clear before, during and after the rental. A gem!

This place was conveniently located for our stay in D.C. It was clean and well kept. We appreciated having what looked like a new set of laundry washer and dryer. The owner was very responsive and communication was easy.

DELIGHT is a great description. I had a wonderful stay. I loved the location close to the venues I visited. The property is spotless and well appointed. I loved the cozy bed, the swivel television and the heavenly shower. I found a game that I played as a child and enjoyed playing it. Sorry my stay was short so I didn't use the available patio, dishwasher and washer/dryer. I'll be back!

Great neighborhood and the unit was exactly as expected.

Check in and out was good. The listing was as described. It was neat and clean. You do not want a large vehicle to try to park on the street but you would have problems any where in DC. When you apply for a parking permit it will have zone 6A but the parking signs have zone 6 with no letters.

Cute English basement apartment on a quiet residential street, close to the H St NE corridor. Some quirks (swivel tv between bedroom and living room) and some fantastic features (shower with multiple heads).

Absolutely loved my stay at this apartment. The space was beautiful, spotless, and fully equipped with everything I needed—including thoughtful touches like condiments in the kitchen. Communication with the host was smooth and timely, and both check-in and check-out were quick and easy. The neighborhood was quiet, and having available parking was a huge plus. I've stayed in a number of places in D.C., and this one easily makes my top 3. Highly recommended.

Upon arrival we were confused at first, we didn't realize it was a basement garden level apartment, somehow missed that. The door gate is intimidating, but a necessity for the DC area, it is a big city. Once inside we were pleasantly impressed, beautifully kept, well furnished, and clean. The furniture, including the bed and pillows were all comfortable. The kitchen is lacking some storage containers, but has ample dishes, silverware, and glasses. If you buy groceries, get some storage bags, paper plates, Tinfoil, seasonings, and cooking spray. The bathroom is small but the shower beyond makes up for it with its 6 shower heads, very relaxing. The towels are adequate and they give you enough, plus they have shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion available for your use, and a blow dryer.There is a nice stackable front loader washer and dryer, and they have Tide pods for you, as well as a laundry basket, iron and ironing board.The bedroom has a dresser with extra pillows, towels, and sheets, a closet with hangers, a very nice comforter, and the tv spins around to the bedroom so you can continue to watch your shows in bed. We stayed a Wednesday to a Sunday. Overall, it was quiet. However, you can hear when the people upstairs run up and down their steps, or when they are talking near the stairs that lead to the basement. Neighborhood was fine, 30 min walk to Union Station, US Capitol, Trader Joes, Aldi; 15 min walk to most restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.

Its a cute apartment, everything you need for a comfortable stay. The neighborhood is nice, residential but pretty loud but in the apartment very quiet. Managers very quick to respond.

We had a great visit to DC. The apt was located in a tree lined neighborhood with access below ground, but it was airy & clean with a well appointed kitchen. We enjoyed the 25 minute walk to the capitol and many Smithsonian museums.When we arrived we were given misinformation about accessing the apt by the management company that caused a significant delay in getting in our visit to the DC sites. The mgt company also asked for our feedback but did not respond to some minor issues we expressed.

The place was very clean and the location was great! We look forward to our next stay!

Quaint, clean, well-stocked one bedroom downstairs apartment. The one bedroom offers little privacy due to shutters and mounted TV on shared wall with LR area where the pull out couch is. Perfect for an individual or a couple. I gave 4 stars to accuracy of listing only because I believe that transparency of property management company should list application is required and acceptance of Lease agreement following payment. Otherwise, they were very responsive and timely.

We had to come to DC for business on short notice and this place was perfect! Great location, perfect setup and everything we needed! Great communication with the property owner when needed as well. Amazing location

A week in D.C. We were delighted with the apartment. It was clean and comfortable (a wonderful shower) and in a great neighborhood of young professionals, strollers and dogs. We walked everywhere. The Capital is less than 30 minutes on foot and there is such terrific architecture to look at along the way. We were return, and we will, it is likely we’ll rent the same unit. Thank you to the owners.

It was the perfect location for us. Goal was accomplished- to see the sights and enjoy great food and wine! Coming home to a very comfortable spot rounds out a full day ?! Many thanks and see you again soon!

Great quiet location. Everything you would need. Will stay here again on my next visit. Won’t be disappointed.

This house was beautiful and we loved our stay. The only thing it needs improvement on is the ants. There were ants everywhere. If they can take care of that this place is PERFECT!!
