Guest Access:

Guests have unfettered access to the full apartment through as separate door to the patio and backyard. Keyless entry (unique ID access pad) makes coming and going easy. No shared spaces!



Also please note if you will be driving to the property the vehicle must be digitally registered as the streets are permitted parking only. We are able to register one vehicle for a pass per the city and the cost is $12 per stay (not per night), Please fill out the form provided at least 24 hours to your arrival with your vehicle information if you are planning on parking. We will then send you a payment request.



The Neighborhood:

Mt. Washington is located in the city of Pittsburgh on the bluff looking over downtown. It is an old-school Italian neighborhood, well kept, very authentic, great gelato available in summer time, mix of both nice bars/restaurants that are a little bit touristy (those on Grandview Ave), and old neighborhood favorites where you can hear locals debate the best way from dahntahn back up to Mt. Warshington (yes, the true Pittsburgh accent is still very much alive - remember, Pittsburgh has been called both the Paris of Appalachia due to it being the cultural capital of the area and the Galapagos Islands of linguistics because trust me, yinz've never heard anything like the local dialect). Every Saturday night (around midnight - 3AM), Pittsburgh's Swing City offers public swing dancing and great music on the Grandview lookout in front of St. Mary of the Mount!
