Camden Carriage House

The pictures online do not do this place justice. It was beautiful and priced very reasonably. The homeowner Joe was extremely nice and took the time to show us around the nearby polo fields. We had a great time relaxing and watching the horses. A much needed break!

We were staying overnight after arriving fairly late (8:30 pm) and leaving 12 hours later on a trip to the South Carolina coast. The host happened to be outside when we arrived and was very cordial, plus the lodging was very comfortable with lots of interesting things to look at on the wall and interesting furniture. A very nice place to stay in a welcoming location!

This was the most perfect place for me to stay for 2 nights!!! I will definitely choose this as my number one choice the next time I come to Camden!!! Thank you!!!

Beautiful building and property. Clean, comfortable, and attention to detail: the sound machine was such a pleasant surprise. Checking in was smooth, and the video to help us navigate to the building was valuable. Great stay!

We had an amazing stay at this vintage guest house! The place was spotless when we arrived and you can tell the host really takes pride in keeping everything clean and well cared for. The house has a lot of charm and character, which made the stay feel unique and cozy.The area was very quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. It was nice being able to unwind without a lot of noise or distractions. Everything we needed was provided and the whole experience felt comfortable and easy.Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, charming place in a calm, quiet area. We would happily stay here again!

Loved my stay here and wish I could stay in a vrbo just like this one in every place I travel. The Carriage House was clean, tastefully decorated, and had all the little extras you want - coffee and tea supplies, paper towels, makeup wipes, etc. Morning coffee on the back porch overlooking the polo field was the perfect way to close out our stay. Great experience overall!

Cozy space with historic charm! We had a wonderful, though short, visit. Host was welcoming and very easy to communicate with. We look forward to returning for a longer visit!

Property exactly as described. Connected to the owner property but its own unit. Separate entrance and back deck. Well appointed and charming rental. Wonderful location.

We came in to visit with our son and family for the 4th. It was ready when we arrived and such a quiet cute space. My husband grew up riding horses so the place itself and decor were fitting. Had everything we needed while here and will definitely try to stay again next time we visit.

Camden South Carolina is my hometown. I went to town to do lunch with some friends. I loved this little hidden gem. It is in a beautiful spot in one of the historic districts. I sat outside on the patio as the sun went down having a cocktail. Perfection. I hope this spt is available everytime i go home to visit.

We had a wonderful stay at the Camden Carriage House in Camden, South Carolina. The space was immaculately clean and beautifully decorated with antiques and vintage photos of polo ponies, which added so much character and charm. The back porch and windows overlook a serene polo field, making it a perfect spot for morning coffee or evening relaxation.The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful coffee and tea service. We were in town for a family birthday celebration, but we usually visit Camden for the Carolina Cup, and we would absolutely consider renting this lovely unit again.Highly recommend the Camden Carriage House for anyone looking for a cozy, clean, and unique place to stay in Camden!

Excellent location, stylish, comfortable, amenities just right for spacePerfection

Everything here was very nice. I enjoyed sitting on the little deck and drinking coffee in the mornings. The only drawbacks were there was really no comfortable place to sit inside to relax and watch tv and there was an odd unpleasant odor. It was in a great location and the hosts were very friendly. Great history to the carriage house and surrounding grounds.

It was very clean. Could not cook there. Thought it said it had a stove which it don't. Has a convection oven which when you turn it on it would kick the surge protector off after a minute or so.

Everything from reserving to leaving went very smoothly. Hosts are very responsive and kind. Lovely carriage house and very convenient to Camden. We will definitely reach out again when we are planning to be back in the area.

We loved the quietude and serenity of this place, combined w. beautiful views of some stables and polo fields. Not to mention the historical aspect of these quarters. Very convenient location to the historic district of Camden including shopping and dining.

Stayed two nights for Steeplechase at Springdale. Location was perfect with fluffy towels and a very comfortable bed.

What a nice surprise when I pulled in the driveway, it was amazing. Everything was clean and prefect. I would highly recommend this this cottage. Wish I could have stayed longer.

Place was great! Quiet neighborhood. Decorated beautifully. Bed was comfy and coffee was provided! Which we drank on the deck in the morning overlooking the grounds! Would def stay here again!

We throughly enjoyed our stay here. It was a short stay but perfect. Pam was great!! Very clean! Was so much better and restful than staying in a hotel. Would recommend this for any couple or individual needing a nice and cozy place to stay. You won’t be disappointed
