Cala Loft by Wonderful Italy

Great location and overall appeal was nice. Communication with the host proved difficuly as they use a 3rd party who did not have an efficient turn around time.We booked this spot because it had 2 full washrooms. We quickly learned the 1 did not have hot water. When reaching out for support it took 3 days for a response telling us to look for the boiler in the kitchen. There was no such boiler. Took an additonal 24 hours for them to inform us its on the rooftop. We also reached out to inform them of a sour fishy smell from the 1 shower that did work - no response.Oh and the automated message the night before checking out asking us to ensure the dishes are washed was quite comical since there are no dishes in the unit.

Location was good. Walking distance to many areas of interest.The shower pressure was next to zero so just be aware when you book. But the space was clean and a great gelato shop one the main level.

My boyfriend and I loved staying here! We were able to walk to the port with amazing new restaurants. Good location. Beautiful place. I would recommend staying here! The only downfall is: my boyfriend wanted to enjoy nightlife with his friend and I wanted to sleep. The key for the electricity does not come off the door key. So I had to stay awake until he came back home so I had electricity and he was able to get into the place. Other than that, it was great!

The property was excellent. Our only challenges were locating the unit as the street address was not obvious and there were no instructions on how to use the expresso coffee machine. The unit was large and comfortable with a very large terrace. An enjoyable 4 days.

The apartment is very well located in the old town of Palermo with everything in walking distance. Check-in and communication was great. The apartment is spacious and had everything we needed for a short stay. Unfortunately the air conditioning is not strong enough to cool down the big space so it was very hot at night time and due to the central location we kept waking up from the street noises. All in all we had a good time but the apartment is quite expensive for what you get in the end.

Upstairs, where the bed is located is extremely unsafe. Why?? Because of the lack of full flooring and a safety panel at the railing looking down to the main floor. I had to move the bed to keep it better, safety wise. It would be no big deal to put in flooring to the wall and paneling below the railing. I am 77 years old and I know what I am talking about in terms of safety. Other than that, the apartment and its location was fantastic.
