How to arrive in Venice: Jesolo represents the ideal starting point to visit the three Venetian regions and, obviously, Venice is the most important destination for almost everybody. There are three possible ways to reach Venice, each one of them with a different charm and interest. The quickest way, made so by the direct transport link from Jesolo, is Punta Sabbioni, very last bit of land that enclose the lagoon, from where, in only 40 minutes on a public motor-ship or motor-boat, you get straight to Piazza S. Marco, saving 30 minutes walk; that much it would, in fact, take you were you to walk from the S. Lucia station. On the other hand this is the original entrance to Venice, the one that was once used by the big galleons of the Republic. Venice may be reached through yet another lagoon route on public boats, namely the one that departs from Treporti, still in the Cavallino peninsula, which enables you to get to Venice, in around one hour, doubling the well known isles of Burano, Torcello and Murano.

Near the Brenta's Villas: The Venetian countryside areas are spangled by ancient villas that were built on the XVI, XVII, XVIII centuries by rich people from Venice as their summer places of abode. They are witnesses to one of the most civilised ways of life of the Renaissance period and among these villas are some of the greatest works of art belonging to the Italian architecture. The most famous are, most certainly, Palladio's, like for example the Malcontenta, near Venice, and Maser, in the Treviso area, both of them are open to the public. Along the Riviera del Brenta, which connects the lagoon to Padua, an incredible collection of these villas from different ages can be admired, among these is the one of Stra, built in '700 as the Doge's residence.

We spent 7 days in Jesolo at this residence. We rent an apartment nicely decorated, with 1 bedrooms and one kitchen, having all required for meals preparation, like home. All you had to do was to buy the food .?The apartment was situated on the first floor and it was quite nice, with view in the front of the hotel.?The parking space was very confortable, just in fron of the house. The parking space in Jesolo is a touchy subject.?The residence is managed by the owners, husband and wife, very kind and helpful.?You have the beach services included. ?You can have many trips around. We visit Venice, Padoa, Verona. Please do not miss Aqualandia Park in Jesolo, just 500mt from the house were we had a lot of fun.The beach was fabulous and the Adriatic see was calm. We had beautiful weather, mostly 30 Celsius degrees.?The prices were really affordable and you could find anything you like.?Impressive sea food restaurants in Jesolo. I strongly recommend Don Claudio. Please order the shrimps salad.

We had such a great time last year,we have returned again this year. The apartment was spotless, had all the equipment we needed to cook and clean and entertain 3 children. The beach is well kept and clean, with pubs and services. The kids loved the beaches This apartment would be great for families with kids or couples alike, and is just 70 mt from the house ( and all the watersports). The house is in the pedestrian isle full of restaurants, supermarkets, pubs, shops. We do not need car and Venice is really well linked from Jesolo. A good location to explore all over the Veneto from Venice to Cortina d'Ampezzo or Verona, to some pretty villages in land. We love it!. Thankyou! Recommended for: Pet-friendly, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children.

We stayed in Apt. B. The floors were dusty. The bathroom had a lot of mildew. The cabinets were falling apart. The window shutters did not close all the way. The shower hose and head were taped and leaky. The toilet ran the whole time we were there. We went in early September and had no issues with the lack of air conditioning. However, I would not recommend this for families with small children. There is only a pull out shower and the noise from the bar on the beach could be an issue. We did have private parking, but you must hook the chain across otherwise other beach goers will take your spot. The owners were extremely helpful, but the only really good thing about this apartment was that it was so close to the beach, water park and shops. You are paying for the location, not the quality of room.

We rented Apartment B which is not the one shown on the site. It was in a great location - close to the beach, the main street of shops and restaurants and within walking distance of the water park Aqualandia. The rooms were large and spacious and very clean. Monica was very helpful and friendly and we had a great week. No air con (we did know that there was none) in this apartment which meant it was hot at night as we kept the windows shut because of noise from the main street and the mosquitoes but this wouldn't be a problem in cooler months. Basic kitchen - fridge, coffee maker and two gas rings - but enough for us. All in all, a lovely week!
