Darling place in great location. We stayed here for three nights with our teen on the pull out couch as we were visiting a local college. The bed in the primary room was extremely comfortable and the room had blackout curtains. If you have a 3rd/4th guest and light bothers them at all, they might bring an eye mask. The bedding, towels, and amenities were all high quality. The kitchen was well-stocked; the knives were even good quality and sharp in the kitchen (so rare in a VRBO). A well-stocked Keuring and back up coffee and tea covered us for the three days. The heated kitchen and bathroom floors are a lovely luxury. There were welcome snacks, which were very nice after long flights. There is a wonderful bakery 2-minute walk away (August First), a yummy seafood place a 5-minute walk away, and we ate at an excellent French bistro in the cute Church Street district after our college visit. Communication with Laurie was easy; we felt well taken care of. The place is petite, but well-designed. Three of us had to dance around each other a bit, but it would be perfect for a romantic couples vacation. Checkout requirements were easy (take out the trash, pile towels next to the washer, and start the dishwasher if you used the dishes). We’d return if we come back to Burlington!

This efficient and comfortable space was well stocked with everything we needed for a great stay within an easy walk to downtown. Every detail was covered and every appliance was high quality in great condition. From coffee, to welcoming snacks, a high-quality air purifier, and environmentally-friendly high-quality soaps and detergents- this place was great! We loved hanging out on the comfy three season porch and walking all over Burlington.

There were many thoughtful touches in the apartment from snacks, coffee, and seltzers, to USB plugs and a Roku. The location is great and we were able to walk many places that we wanted to visit. Lake Champlain is stunning! Communication and instructions were fabulous. Our only issue, which had nothing to do with the apartment, but rather Burlington itself. We were unaware that the drug/ homeless problem was so out of control. One morning while walking home from the YMCA, we encountered a young man preparing to shoot up in daylight on a busy street. Not what we expected at 10 AM on a Saturday. We also saw many discarded needles on the paved trail near the water and witnessed drug deals taking place. While we felt safe enough during the day, we opted to be home in the evenings to err on the side of caution. Many years ago, I had considered attending UVM, so its current state was quite disheartening.

The apartment has very nice Furniture, lighting, and Kitchen. I will try to stay there again in the future. It's not a large apartment but it was very comfortable for me and my husband.

My wife and I have been visiting Burlington for the past 25 years, whether it be the marathon, our daughter's soccer games at UVM or to visit a venue for a concert, etc. In all that time, we have never stayed over night as there is family nearby as well as a condo at Jaypeak that we own. This place was perfect. The owners took great care to stock the 400 square foot place with almost everything one could need. The kitchen is understandably small but well stocked with cooking items, some necessary spices, as well as a full sized fridge. The bathroom has soap, shampoo, etc. available, as well as the tub being shaped at the top that if one took a bath, you could lean back and feel comfortable. My wife fell in love with the shower head and attached water wand, as well as the hair turbans. It was too cold to take advantage of the quaint back porch, but hopefully we will during warmer weather. The living room area had a great gas fireplace and large television to watch the NCAA games. Although we did not spend a lot of time at the place, when we came home from the Sarah Potter concert at the Flynn or enjoying nights out in town, it was cozy and comfortable. The hosts were in touch and all went well. The place in walking distance of most anything in the heart of Burlington. We will be going back again.

Steps from downtown's most delightful attractions, the Walkabout feels secluded and safe. The Walkabout is curated with eclectic touches and top-notch apartment-sized appliances.. It even has a gas fireplace AND air conditioning. We didn't have time to use the picnic table outside, but it looked inviting. Love the off-street, dedicated parking spot. Would visit again in a heartbeat.
