Brownstone duplex with hot tub and koi pond 20 mins drive from NYC

The area looked nothing like the outside photo pictured. The area did not appear child friendly. We chose not to stay.

Wonderful oasis in the city. Conviently located near transit so we could get around without a car.

We had a great stay, my granddaughter loved feeding the Koi fish with the food left to do so & we really liked the outdoor space. It was well stocked & clean! The commute to the city was a little longer, taking at least 45 minutes but it was worth it!

We really travel a lot but this was the most helpful, friendly and pleasant landlord we have ever had. Whenever we had a question or concern, we received an answer and assistance within a very short time. The hot pot was brilliant. The three of us sat in it and had great fun. The flat is very clean and well furnished. We cooked for ourselves every day. The kitchen is really well equipped, it has everything you need for great and elaborate cooking. We were there for 16 days, didn't have a car and travelled to New York every day by Uber and train. It's super quick and you're quicker than by car because of all the traffic in New York. We can highly recommend this flat. If we ever return in the summer, we will come here again if the flat is still available :-). Thank you so much Caser, we had such a good time, you were a uniquely brilliant landlord.

We found the house to be spacious, clean & true to its pictures. The host was responsive, helpful & our entire experience went smoothly. We didn't have a car with us & the location seemed a little far out, but it was a quick & easy Uber ride to & from the Path Station.

Comfortable rooms

Charming historic house! Accureately described in ad. Jacuzzi and Koi pond in the backyard were a delight! Owner’s communication was prompt. The house is located in the Bergen Lafayette district of Jersey City. conveniently located one and a half miles from cute shops and restaurants. Everything was amazing! my tiny small gripe would be that if you have a car, you have to get up early in the morning to move it for the street cleaning or you get fined $55. That part is no Bueno, unless you enjoy getting up early in the morning of course. However, there is plenty of street transportation, Ubers, etc. so a car may not be needed for some.

Great spot, clean and well appointed. Host was responsive and helpful. Beds were comfortable, lots of towels available. Easy to access and check-in. Appreciated the hot tub on a cool rainy evening. Street parking is at a premium so expect you may have a short walk to find a free space. Would definitely stay again.

Upon arriving we were early.We met the owner, Ceasar. He, is an amazing individual.He welcomed us as if he knew us right away. He is very knowledgeable of the area. The home is spotless, the location is great. We enjoyed the rear patio with the most beautiful koy pond and hot tub. The neighbors were very friendly as well as helpfull. We would like to go back to see Ceasar!!! Highly recommeded.
