Bright and Charming Retreat Off of Oglethorpe Square by Lucky Savannah

Beautiful historic apartment building. Perfect for a couple. 4 stars only because there were no curtains/blinds on the windows (only shutters on bottom portion) and outside security lights shined into the bedroom making it VERY bright and hard to sleep. No issues with privacy as there were no windows on the adjacent building looking in! Parking was interesting ? for those who aren’t used to a busy/tourist city. Would definitely recommend this location! Just bring a sleep mask! (A fan would have been lovely too!)

Great part of town. We were close to everything. Apartment was nice and clean with everything we needed. Easy to get into the building. The windows did not have shades/curtains on the tops of the windows. Luckily we did bring eye covers from reading the other reviews and that worked perfectly.

Great place to stay, and so close to everything. It has a lot of charm.

We suggest you bring a retractable tension curtain rod and use one of their extra blankets to make a temp curtain, since the owner has ignored everyone's feedback about the light issue.

The location was excellent! Check in/out was seamless. Floors were not very clean and we found a dirty towel in the bathroom upon arrival. The bed mattress (too soft) and pillows were very uncomfortable (flimsy). The couch fabric seemed dirty. The couch pillows were also not comfortable/no support. Overall, it seemed like a very old/unsupportive couch. TV in the bedroom did not work. Water temp in the shower was barely warm. Savannah as a city was charming and we loved walking everywhere.

This was our second stay here. It’s Cozy, quaint, full of Old South charm and within walking distance to everything we love about Savannah. We walk to a different coffee shop each morning. Short drive for a great Tybee day at the beach

I think it's misleading to advertise the sleeper sofa when it was a paper thin mattress and you slept on the metal bar of the sofa the entire night. It was also very bright sleeping in the living room, so some curtains on the upper windows would be nice. Please invest in a better sleeper sofa.

It’s a great little spot, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there.
