Stayed Sep 15, 2025I rented this flat for two weeks. Positives: one shower with hot water, comfortable beds, a functioning washing machine, a great location. Negatives: The key is secured in a laundromat 10 minutes from the apartment; upon departure the key must be returned to the laundromat or there is a 50 Euro charge. Other than basic furniture and budget bath towels, the apartment was bare of any necessities except two rolls of toilet paper and dish soap....no paper towels or hand soap, no food wrap or plastic food containers, no first-day arrival coffee, tea, or sugar, odd drink glasses and three unmatched wine glasses. The lighting consisted of two old floor lamps, dim or no-bulb wall sconces, bare-bulb table lamps in the bedrooms. Dragging a standard suitcase up and down the narrow circular staircase was a struggle. Cleanliness: serious deep cleaning is necessary; repairing chipped wall surfaces and painting dirty-gray walls is critical for the price; some flatware/utensils were dirty when we arrived. A woman and man came during week two to check out a foul odor reported by a previous guest. We didn't notice any odor, but I showed them the slow draining water in the bedroom sink. Despite their promise for a fix the next day, no one came. The hosts were robots working somewhere remotely; the owners don't care about hospitality at all. No personal welcome or neighborhood recommendations. This flat is investment-only, owned by corporate owners. I do not recommend it.

Stayed May 7, 2025Loved the neighborhood - very close to the metro, excellent restaurants and friendly locals. The initial listing indicated the apartment was on the first (second in Europe) floor - in reality it was on the third floor! The listing has since been corrected. Plus the stairs are somewhat circular and somewhat lacking any railing!!

Stayed Aug 28, 2025Great location, right by the train station and walking distance to central Paris. Be mindful there is no A/C, but with the windows open on a warm day, it cools down at night and is perfect.

Stayed Jun 9, 2025Overall really enjoyed the stay here!It was quiet even though there was a bar directly downstairs, and was comfortable. You cannot beat the location in my opinion.Check-in process is a little convoluted. You need to go to a separate location to get keys. Normally I would say this is fine but dealing with luggage and children and being tired from travel i do wish this could have been simpler.Another small issue is we were unable to find any shampoo or soap for the shower so we needed to go buy some at the store. Same for the laundry machine. Would love if those were in a more obvious location.Communication with host was great - would stay there again for sure!

Stayed May 22, 2025This property is as pictured and is clean and comfortable. The bathroom situation was misleading. We had two showers, one in each bedroom, but only one toilet in a separate toilet room. There is no elevator and there are about 49 narrow, twisting steps once inside the building to the apartment door. The apartment is on two levels and there are an additional 12 steps inside from the entry to the living room/kitchen. Bedrooms and toilet are on the same level as entry door. It is very convenient to the metro, which is just down the hill from the apartment and can be seen when you step out the front door onto the street. The apartment is roomy and the kitchen is adequate as we were making coffee and eating pastries for breakfast and eating out at lunch and dinner. There is a grocery store and bakery within walking distance. We had some trouble locating the key cafe for key pick-up as we did not realize the location named was the name of a restaurant. The bartender there was very helpful.

Stayed Apr 26, 2025Friends traveling to celebrate 70th birthday in Paris for 3 days. Love the vibe of the Latin quarter. Flat is spacious on two floors. Two bedrooms, one with shower and sink and the other with large tub amd sick. Only one toilet accessed from the hall. Beds are comfortable but pillows are flat and stinky of someone else’s hair. Bathroom products are meager. One little bar of soap. But it lasted the 3 nights. Kitchen is sparsely stocked but if you are planning to eat out it doesn’t matter. But it would be nice to have more than one wine glass! Plenty of space in living area on top floor. No interesting views as it is tucked on a narrow side street.

Stayed Apr 19, 2025Our stay was absolutely perfect. The location could not have been better. Close to Metro, many awesome bakeries, and restaurants and shops. The neighborhood was quiet and very quaint The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of storage and bathrooms were clean and very functional. The bathrooms had great lighting for getting ready and putting on make up. Our host made things very easy for us and we were very comfortable the whole time we were at the flat. We had a bit of a problem returning the key due to our early morning departure, but that was due to the drop off place not being open when it was supposed to be. We would highly recommend this place to anybody thinking of visiting Paris.

Stayed Mar 28, 2025Read the description thoroughly. It changed dramatically after our attempted stay. The apartment was advertised as off the first floor but was on the 3rd. The key would not open the lock and host responsiveness was slow. Do not recommend.

Stayed Mar 7, 2025Great neighborhood, in Latin Quarter, just across from Jussieu Metro station (super convenient for sight-seers). Safe and quiet (except on Friday/Saturday nights--there's a noisy pub across the street). Furnishings basic but comfortable. Small but modern kitchen well equipped with all the amenities, although it took us a few days to figure out the stove (induction stovetops work only with iron cookware). Spacious 3rd-floor split-level 2 BR/2bathroom flat. Our teen loved having her own bedroom and bathroom. Staircases a little narrow and treacherous, but that's typical of 18th-19th-century buildings. (For those over 6-feet, there are a few places where you'll need to watch the headroom.) Your choice of mini-marts just around the corner, and a larger supermarket within easy distance. Farmers market with gorgeous produce also close by. Nice variety of restaurants and take-aways, from traditional French to ethnic cuisine (best sushi we've had anywhere). We'd definitely come again.

Stayed Oct 20, 2024Our family instantly fell in love with the apartment, which was so spacious with everything we needed, and so well located in the heart of this charming neighborhood that I already knew a little about. This was my first VRBO rental, and I actually think I've found my coup de coeur - I'd definitely rent it again if I had the chance!
