Welcome to the Brick Bungalow Upper Unit, a private, renovated apartment within our historic duplex—perfect for a small family, couple, or group of friends. With space for up to 4 guests, this unit features a Smart TV, updated kitchen, and cheerful décor, plus access to a shared firepit in the backyard.

Located just 2 miles from sandy beaches and a short drive from Indiana Dunes National Park, outlet mall, zoo, casino, and hiking trails, it’s a cozy home base for both relaxation and adventure.

⚠️ Note: The bathroom is only accessible through the bedroom. Guests using the sofa bed will need to walk through the bedroom to access it.

⚠️ Safety, Accessibility Notes, & House Rules
--Homes are NOT baby-proofed (no outlet covers, no cabinet locks, furniture is not secured to walls, no cribs provided, etc). Guests are responsible for their safety.
--No pets, parties, or events – we value the relationship with our neighbors, and strive to keep the home in top condition.
--Max 4 guests (strictly enforced)
--Historic property: Steep stairs up to unit; not suitable for guests with mobility issues
-- No smoking inside or within 50 feet (violations = $300 cleaning fee)
--Noise possible from the lower unit (sound machines provided)


Important Notes
--Transitional neighborhood with an eclectic mix of locals & tourists (police station --Train tracks nearby (some guests don’t notice; others do—white noise machines provided)
--Other guests may rent the lower unit; noise possible between floors


⏰ Check-In / Check-Out
--Check-In: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
--Check-Out: 10:00 AM
--Note: We always try to provide early check-in and late check-out opportunities when possible. (It is simply dependent on whether or not it’s a same day check-in/out, the condition in which the previous guest left the home, and our cleaners’ schedules.) Please notify us if you would like early/late check-in/out, and we will do our best to make it work!
--Guests will receive key code & detailed check-in instructions via message on the morning of arrival.
--Michigan City operates on Central Standard Time (CST).


️ Booking Requirements
We’re excited to welcome guests from all backgrounds and want to make sure every stay is enjoyable, safe, and comfortable for both you and our neighbors. To help us maintain a great experience, we ask that:
--The primary renter is 25+ with a verified government ID.
--A $500 damage deposit is required. This is returned after checkout once our team confirms the home is in good condition.


Rental Agreement
After booking, first-time guests are required to sign a standard rental agreement that reflects the house rules and booking details shown on this listing. Information provided is used solely to coordinate maintenance or schedule adjustments during your stay. This information is kept strictly within our team and is never shared externally.
