Mrs. Soer was flexible with the check in time, showed us everything when we arrived and explained everything clearly. She even kindly gave us tips about hiking, exploring the area, and where to eat and buy food. The room matched the description and pictures, and the balcony had an incredible view of the mountains. The kitchen was in a separate room in the hallway across the bedroom and had its own key. It was still our own private kitchen so this was not a problem for us.We walked along the river behind the house for approximately 1.5h to get to the start of the hiking trail to Schrecksee, but you can also get there by bus, for which we got free passes from Mrs. Soer. There were plenty of beautiful hiking paths near the house too. The only thing that could have be improved was the cleanliness. Some of the cupboard surfaces in the kitchen were a little sticky, and the bedroom smelled of old carpet. The pillows had a faint smell of having been used previously. It was not bad, but it was noticeable. On the other hand, the bathroom was very clean. Overall, we were happy with our stay!
