Great location, great host, clean property. Check out was 10am, which we found a bit early after a Saturday night out with friends. 11 is more the standard and would have allowed for a leisurely breakfast and exit.

Everything was fine. Suggest a new iron and ironingboard be purchased. I still iron everything but understand that most probably don't bother. Regards,Marilyn

Wonderful home with an incredible view

The Oasis was everything and more! It surpassed our expectations. It had everything you could possibly need and the sunrises were unbelievable! Thank you Joyce, we really enjoyed our stay!

This place was perfect for us - clean, well-appointed and so close to the beach. We had a great ocean view from the balcony. Joyce gave very clear directions/instructions and responded quickly to messages.

The condo was wonderful, spacious, sparkling clean and beautifully decorated. Love the window seats! We appreciated the several fans that are provided, and also the beach towels, chairs, toys and wagon - nice extras that make a beach vacation great. The owner left a welcome note and small gift, which was a lovely warm touch. There are activities and restaurants within walking distance, and of course, Rathtrevor beach just a minute away.

Gorgeous condo with a stunning view. Loved the furnishings and it had everything we needed and more. We saw cranes and deer from the huge deck. Hope to come back soon.

We have visited Parkesville for decades- we love Rathtrevor Beach. We have stayed in most resorts and many Vrbo locations. This was our favourite. We loved the set up, loved the easy beach access. The cozy window seat with a lovely ocean view was my happy place- even on a rainy day we felt like we were on holiday. We’ll definitely return.

There is a reason we stay here regularly, it never disappoints!! The unit is well appointed, clean, and inviting. The owner, Joyce, is responsive …. and although I didn’t “need” anything from her, she kindly engaged my inquisitiveness! Everything was communicated to us that we needed, all is smooth!! Will be back again and again!!

What a perfect stay, aside from the weather, in Parksville. Ocean view Oasis is the new favorite place to stay. Great location, views and proximity to Rathtrevor. What a lovely place to gather as a family, relax, cook and play games! It is close to Nanaimo, where we visited our father in the hospital and took him a turkey dinner and a stocking! The home is always clean, bright and welcoming and close enough to the beach that we could go in for a polar dip! The host is very easy to communicate with and keeps things simple and clear! Much appreciated!

We stayed at this delightful condo for 5 weeks - October into November 2024. Honestly can’t say enough good things about it…. Well decorated, amazing view from the living room and main bedroom, terrific kitchen, cozy fireplace, comfortable beds, amazing soaker tub and separate shower in main bedroom, and 2minutes to the beach and a couple minutes more to Rathtrevor Provincial Park and it’s gorgeous seaside and forest paths. The balcony has an overhang that allows you to sit out even in a light rain. It is marvellously quiet this time of year (except for the weekly leaf blowers that help keep the area so tidy😂). Joyce was easy to contact and responded promptly. Looking forward to going back next year!

This is a beautiful property located very close to Rathtrevor Park in Parksville. The views are gorgeous. The condo is decorated very nicely with comfortable furniture inside and out. I wouldn’t hesitate to return to this listing.

Joyce has thought of everything you need for a beach vacation. The kitchen was well stocked, and the location was wonderful with a gorgeous view of the ocean. We will be back.
