Stayed Aug 10, 2025Attractive property, good location near the beach with many birds coming to the garden. While unexpected that the hosts were staying upstairs, we still had a private stay in a convenient location close to Apollo bay and the beach.

Stayed Feb 2, 2025This property is on one acre, 4 minutes drive to Apollo Bay. Breakers Bar is a very large accommodation with everything you need. It’s equipped like a home, not a rental. The kitchen has absolutely everything you need. For families there is everything from kids dishes and cutlery to a high chair, games, toys, and an enormous yard. The one thing it doesn’t have is air conditioning but by keeping it closed up during the day and open in the evening it wasn’t a problem for us. (There are fans if needed) Elpis and Andy are very friendly and helpful. (They live upstairs) we enjoyed spending a bit of time with them but that was our choice, they know to leave their guests space to enjoy the property on their own. I highly recommend this listing.

Stayed Apr 11, 2024The location was great just outside the main part of Apollo Bay. It’s within walking distance to the beach, so great for the morning walks Andy was a great host and met me during check in, as he was based upstairs, and explained to me about some of the attractions in the area. The back yard was massive, which the kids loved. They were sad not to have spent more time there. The accommodation was also great and tidy, but the only constructive feedback I have is on the beds. The queen size bed was very creaky and the kids complained about their beds rolling around too much. I’ve raised these to the owners so I’m sure it will be fixed for the next time. Thank you Andy and and Elpis for allowing us to stay at your property.

Stayed Sep 19, 2022Loved our stay here. Great location, could hear the waves from the beach at night, which is only a short walk down the road. Even though we arrived late in the evening, the owner was very welcoming and gave us a quick tour and had the heater on ready for us. Thank you for the lovely stay.
