*Box Car*Downtown Blue Ridge|Southern Charm Suites

Everything was just as we expected it would be in every way. We chose this place based on the pictures descriptions and reviews. Our stay was just for a night as we were just passing through to Atlanta to see if Blue Ridge warranted a longer stay at some future time. It did not disappoint.

beautiful new apartment.Right on Main St so many walkable places. Nice outdoor deck area to eat takeout. Easy check in.

I had been to Southern Charm for lunch prior to a wine tour last year and happened to be sitting with a mother/daughter that mentioned they were staying upstairs in one of the Suites and lovely it was. I attended a wedding in Blue Ridge in June 2026 and decided to book a Suite. It was the ideal location, great customer service and quiet. 10 out of 10!

We enjoyed our stay in the Southern Charm Boxcar Suite. The space was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. Location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. We enjoyed the covered porch out back. It’s a great place to rest and relax in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

The property is convenient to everything in downtown Blue Ridge!! Parking can be a challenge but the property does a good job to try to help save places. Wish the rooms add Kleenex, otherwise great. Pricing excellent for a Monday!

Parking was easy, right in the back of property. The property was easy walking distance to all of downtown. It was a great relaxing weekend!

The property was clean and quiet, and in a convenient location for walking through town and for catching the train. Would definitely recommend.

Exactly as advertised and in a great location!

The suite was very clean and surprisingly quiet since it seats on top of a restaurant and the main street. Conveniently located next to the train, restaurants and shopping. The one minus is the parking for the suite. But this does not convince me to give anything less than a five star. KS

Clean cute convenient quiet, just need a portable fan in there because it is about 72 degrees and I am used to 66 at home

Wonderful location and the hosts are very prompt with communication. Also, I accidentally left my necklace in the room, and they went out of their way to reach out to me and then mail me my necklace! So incredibly thoughtful! Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

Right in downtown. We parked on Friday and didn’t get back in the car until we left on Sunday. The room was clean and quiet, the bed super comfortable, the bathroom clean and private. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Boxcar. The room was perfect. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. It was close to everything. We parked our car when we arrived and didn’t move it until we left. We will definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Southern Charm Suites. Check in was easy, our room was very clean and the bed was comfy. The best part was being in the downtown area and walking to everything. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again!

We had a nice, relaxing stay in the Boxcar suite. The suite is within walking distance of everything downtown Blue Ridge has to offer. We enjoyed being downtown after the crowds had left. The Boxcar was very clean and had everything we needed. Check-in and check-out were hassle-free.

I needed one night in town, and this was hands down better than a hotel. I'd stay here again when in town for a quick trip. Great location across from the train and a short walk to great restaurants.

Wonderful location for exploring downtown blue ridge with comfortable bedding and nicely appointed.

We did not find this place until we arrived but it was perfect, cozy & great location. We will return as soon as possible.

Very convenient to planned activities. Did not like the Coffee Pot in the bathroom.No instructions , for TV ; that was too big to allow Coffee Pot to sit by microwave.Just suggestions for thought !! WE LOVED OUR STAY !!

The Boxcar suite was really nice. We enjoyed our stay. The weather was a quite cold and breezy. I was wishing I had a nice soak in a tub but the room only had a shower. We enjoyed our stay though.

Knew nothing of the winery.Vineyards were not seen.

Very clean room. Enjoyed being close to town. Would have preferred assigned parking as the 3 marked spots were always taken and the free parking on the street was always full due to the restaurant. I would suggest mounting the tv on the wall and placing the frig on the built it.

It was great! The room could have been cooler. It was hot at night trying to sleep.

The room was hot. No individual thermostat for each room. It is out in the hall. We went in June, so it was hot. We did call and the management gave us a number to unlock the storage room to get the key for the thermostat but it didn't work. Had to wait until the next morning when the maid came to set temperature lower. There is a ceiling fan and fan in the closet. Still was not as cool as we wanted. Only 1 chair- no small table (for food in your room)- no facial tissue (bring your own) only toilet tissue. Very small trash cans. Bring a trash bag if you bring food to your room. Parking could be an issue if it was during the peak season. All in all, very nice and clean room. Great location. With a few adjustments it would be great.
