Part of a historically designated craftsman home, the location is in the very heart of South Park -- walk only steps to coffee shops, Buona Forchetta Italian restaurant, Enoteca wine, Kindred cocktails, and Hamilton`s famous beer selection. A 4-block walk to Balboa Park, 5 minute drive to downtown, or 10 min drive to Coronado Beach. South Park`s Spanish Colonial Revival architecture and tree lined streets give it an unmistakable charm.

This studio is perfectly suited for solo travelers and working professionals seeking a comfortable and quiet retreat. The high-speed Wi-Fi and dedicated workspace make it easy to stay productive, while the cozy, well-designed layout ensures a peaceful environment to relax after a day exploring South Park or commuting downtown. Its central location also provides quick access to nearby cafes and restaurants, ideal for both work breaks and leisure.

The petite guest suite space boasts original hardwood floors, granite counters, a full kitchenette, queen sized bed, and a tile shower with rain fixture. Natural light pours through the bath skylight. There is a mounted flat screen television with Netflix and free high speed wifi internet. Laundry is available at the Posh Wash less than a block away.

Guests have direct and private access to the guest suite from Beech Street. Within the guest suite is a private full bath, kitchen, and bedroom. Please note that the backyard is NOT accessible to guests.

South Park stands out in San Diego for its tree-lined streets, compact blocks, and walkable business district. Predominantly a single-family residence area, it is noteworthy for its fine and varied collection of Craftsman and Spanish Colonial Revival style homes built between 1905 and 1930. The area is home to several churches, popular restaurants and cafes, grocery stores, taverns and wine bars, art galleries, a dog wash, a yoga studio and other businesses.

South Park has a reputation as a dog-friendly area, supported by one of the few designated dog parks adjacent to a residential area (at Grape Street).

The main road running North and South through the neighborhood is 30th Street, which is marked for both cars and bicycles and is served by the number 2 line bus.

The guest suite is part of a multifamily craftsman home. The guest suite, kitchen, and bathroom are all private. There are shared walls with the other unit(s). Please note the backyard is NOT accessible to guests. Posh Wash Laundry is less than a block away if you need to do laundry during your stay.

There are security cameras at the front entrances of each unit which include the porch steps and landing. The cameras can record if enabled for guest & property safety.

- No smoking (of any kind) in-unit or on the property. Smoking or vaping (of any kind) is strictly prohibited on this property.
- One friendly small to medium sized dog allowed (no other animals). $59 (per dog) non-refundable pet fee collected when booking the reservation. Dogs must be on a leash at all times when on property. All pet relief must be off property, Grape St dog park is within walking distance. Only dogs approved before reservation will be allowed at the property.
- The backyard is private and not accessible to guests.

    The property was exactly as pictured in the listing and had the appearance of a very recent remodel. The host was very attentive with email messages at every step of the way. The neighborhood is interesting and deserves to be explored on walking tours. If you are new in town, make sure to explore nearby Balboa Park.

    What a cute, quiet place to stay in the San Diego area. So much is located close by in this very safe area of the neighborhood, and it's easy walking distance to go just about anywhere in a reasonable length of time. The bed was very comfortable, it was really quiet during the night, and I would gladly stay here again. Access was easy and I felt extremely secure the entire time. I highly recommend this place to anyone planning to travel to the San Diego area.

    Property located so you can walk to restaurants , stores. It’s a great place to stay if you primarily need a place to sleep since there is no access to a yard. We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable nicely appointed place.

    Kitchen was more than expected. Would prefer two chairs to sit on though. The bathroom was beautiful. Great job on this unit for comfort.

    Once we arrived, the place was very clean and organized. Checking in and out was very easy and we didn't have to face anyone else the whole time we were there. Our host John was very easy to communicate with and helped us feel right at home with a welcome basket! I would definitely consider coming back to this location, or recommending it to some friends.
