Boulevard Stays 5 mins to Riverwalk & Mag Mile 03

The initial communication was excellent, easy registration/payment and clear instructions for accessing the unit. Unfortunately, several issues during the stay led to this review.When we arrived, the thermostat was set to 65 degrees, the unit was extremely cold, and the thermostat was not functioning. I immediately sent the host a photo of the error message. For the next five days, despite repeated messages, I received responses that appeared to be automated. On day 5 of our 7-day stay, I finally received a link explaining how to operate the thermostat, but the AC issue was never resolved during our stay as it was inoperable.The property was also advertised with a beautiful rooftop deck. At check-in, we were told the key fob needed for access was located on the console in the unit. It was not there. I repeatedly notified the host, but despite assurances that it would be delivered or provided through the front desk/maintenance team, we never received access. There was no onsite staff or front desk available to assist.The final and most serious issue occurred on day 5 when the front door lock malfunctioned and we became trapped inside the unit on the 6th floor. After contacting the host, someone had to literally saw through the lock to get us out.While the location was great, the lack of personal, onsite support, unresolved AC issue, no rooftop access, and unsafe lock situation made this a very disappointing stay.

Great location, very nice building and apartment that was perfect for our needs! There were many restaurants nearby and we were able to walk to the Riverwalk, Lake and Magnificent mile as well as many other attractions. It was also very close to brownline and redline train stops. The condo was nice but not super well equipped. It didn’t matter for us because we weren’t cooking. The location and price point made it well worth it. The hosts were also very responsive and easy to work with. Thank you for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay, the location in River North was great. Safe, easy to get around. The roof top patio provided great views and a comfortable place to visit.Entering the building was easy, instructions were easy for codes etc.This was the most sparse looking rental we have stayed in. A nice long deck but no chairs to sit on. Instructions for the thermostat would be nice for those of us who are not tech savvy.It is always nice to have the first mornings coffee supplied but a tea option and also a bolder coffee option would have been appreciated. Appreciated the sugar.A sponge or wash cloth for the kitchen. The master bathroom needed a chair/stool or piece of furniture to put things on. The shower didn't have a shower caddy and the shampoo/soap etc. had to be place on the shower floor. We think more than 1 bath towel per person should be provided and also a couple of bath mats. Also, the shower floor /lower walls need a scrubbing.The TP was one ply and no kleenex which is always a nice touch. We did buy a box and left it. Not part of the condo but entering the building the smell in the lobby/elevator was terrible. Not enough air and the diffusers were overwhelming.

Great location and we enjoyed our stay very much!

This was a nice place to stay for my staycation. The pics make it look a tad better than what it was, but it was nice nonetheless. Communications and accommodations were top notch. I'd book there again, especially given the prime location.
