Entertainment scheduled was not provided as advertised in the hotel. Air conditioning was not as cool as desired with hot outside temperatures. Check in was later than wanted due to an apparent maintenance issue which we did not see any issue. However..Food quality and speed of service was surperior.

The Tradewinds is a great place to stay. I was there for a conference, but it is a good location with lots included in the resort. Also, not a bad place to be in a pandemic as there's plenty of outdoor eating options. You're right on the beach. My only complaint was with the booking situation itself. They had me switch rooms part of the way through my stay, which was a huge inconvenience as I had to store my stuff in a totally different part of the resort. This was NOT standard for the Tradewinds itself but had to do with the vrbo booking I went through. The communication was also poor through this service. I've stayed at Tradewinds before and when working directly with them there is no problem. Next time I will be sure to book before the conference block sells out.

We have always loved the Tradewinds and their beach. Was thrilled that we got one free cabana a day. Liked the kitchen accessories and a frig that actually kept things cold. No complaints for the room except bath floor could of been cleaner. The beds were comfortable and room size was fine for 4 adults. Loved the view! I didn't like the check in where they were trying to set up an appt for our next vacation. I came to vacation and we could have been told that was available and left it at that. I shouldn't have to give any reasons for not doing it. Ask if someone would be interested and move on.

family resort, lots of amenities and activities for kids and families

Tradewinds is GREAT and there was no issue with the room. It was excellent. But I had the absolute worst experience with the rental company that managed the reservation. They actually canceled a night of our stay just a couple of days before we were to arrive. I had to pay a large sum at a different hotel for a last minute reservation, and then dealt with the hassle of moving hotels in between. It also leaves a very bad taste in my mouth for VRBO for working with this company. They should have and could have done better--book me a regular Tradewinds room. Comp the reservation. There was no recourse. It was a nightmare.

Had a wonderful stay at TradeWinds Resort. We loved all of the amenities, especially the beach cabanas which we used daily. Resort itself was very clean and staff was very friendly. I was a little disappointed with the condition of our room, toilet was not attached well, was wobbly and leaking. Housekeeping did not come to our room once during our 6 night stay. I had to call for towels as we were only given 2 and ended up running out and needing fresh ones. Almost ran out of toilet paper as well. Hope they make some improvements to the rooms and improve housekeeping services. Will definitely be back as we do love TradeWinds and St. Pete Beach.

Room was comfortable with an incredible view of the Gulf. I do wish the renovation work on the bottom floor had been completed because navigating in and out from the elevator when “traffic” was high was somewhat difficult. The Tradewinds staff is always so helpful and gracious. We loved our stay.

The place could use some updating. Entry door needs to be slammed shut because it sticks so bad. A/C unit needs to be serviced as it made gurgling noises 24/7, Room service skipped my room on the two days i did not have the sign on the handle. Construction in front of the building was going on. So, hearing trucks back up at 6:00am everyday was kind of disappointing. You can see the sunrise from the room. It was nice to have amenties such as shampoo,conditioner etc.

We were extremely happy with this place! Looks just like the pictures. So much to do there! Definitely recommend

Beautiful property and great experience as a whole.

Had a great time with my family on St. Petes beach at the Tradewind. This resort is in a great location and something is always going on. Had a beautiful view of the Sunset each night, we will be back for sure.

We loved the space. The room was super clean, well decorated and very comfortable. We will be back!!!!
