We loved our stay here!

The property was dog friendly and we appreciated the thoughtfulness that you included for Lewis. He enjoyed meeting Charlie! The apartment is quiet and secluded and the short drive to the property was worth it, centrally located to our hiking spots and Brevard.

This apartment was perfect for me and my furry friend. The location worked really well for trail hikes. 1/2 an hour in any direction got you to something different. The apartment was very clean and provided everything needed for an on the go vacation. Hosts were great!! thanks for the cheesecake!!

This place amazing. We so enjoyed our time here. It is immaculate. Met all our needs. We were able to sit outside for coffee and swing. Hostess is very friendly and accommodating . Close to restaurants, etc. far enough to feel in the mountains. We would certainly return.

Kathy, Glen and Charlie were great host! The place is very nice, clean, and provided a great quiet get away for our anniversary. The view from the porch and fire pit area was great. Large yard for our pup to play. Blue ridge mountain get away had everything we needed to cook a quick dinner and have coffee in the morning. Close to nice restaurants in Brevard (Kathy provided a great list) and easy to get to breweries in Ashville.

Kathy’s place was perfect for our short weekend get away. Cozy and had all the things we needed for our stay. Clean and private!

Kathy and her pup Charlie were an excellent welcome committee. Very clean several amenities in case you forgot to pack something. Gave us ideas on things to do and places to eat. Much appreciated as it was our first trip to that area.

This was a super charming place. Perfect for us to stay before a wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the hosts have thought of everything! Some instant oats for breakfast, nice fluffy towels, and even a day pack if you want to go hiking nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and would consider a longer stay in future. I felt so well taken care of even in the short amount of time we were there. It’s how I dream visiting home would be. It’s what I aspire to help other people feel when I take care of them. There was even a day pack hanging there with a handwritten note if you needed to use it. Everything was so peaceful and thoughtful. I look forward to visiting again!

Excellent home and was very clean

If you want to feel like you got away and were one with nature, this is the place. Very clean with all the modern conveniences. Our hosts are splendid humans. Greg actually tried to help with our luggage. We really only slept there during our 2 day stay, but such a wonderful place to come home to. Looking forward to a stay where I can just sit back on the patio and read a great book. Loved it.

Very lovely and extremely clean studio apartment! We had a short but lovely time. Kathy thought of all amenities we might need. Bed was very comfortable. Even treats for our dog! It was a great little weekend escape for some hiking around the Brevard area!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. Great location- quiet area but not far from everything in Brevard and convenient to great hiking in Dupont and Pisgah. We wish we had more time here! We were in Brevard for a baby shower for our soon expected great granddaughter. We found Kathy’s Getaway located within 15 minutes of our family. We loved the apartment as well as the outdoor spaces. Kathy has thought of so many ways to make our stay there even more pleasing. The kitchen is small but “well appointed.” We used the air fryer, coffee pot (coffee provided) and the induction “hot plate.” And our Goldie Tucker was welcomed completely. We will be back later in the summer to meet the new baby.

What a great place to stay and a wonderful host. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable well provisioned accommodations make a winning combination. We would definitely recommend and would love to return.

It was very quick and easy to communicate with the host. The place is one of the charming, cozy, cleanest place I been to. All accessories were more than enough. We had a great experience and felt like we were home. I definitely recommend this place. I surely will be looking forward to revisiting this place in the near future.

My husband and I, along with our dog needed a quick getaway weekend. Kathy and Glenn are great hosts. This cute little studio apartment has everything you could possibly need … and then some. Every detail was well thought out. Very clean and organized. They even had a toy and treats for Cash. Comfortable and within 15 minutes of downtown Brevard and other attractions. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed staying here as the hosts welcomed us to the property, showed us to the place we would be staying and showed us local attractions, food, and places to go. We got great recommendations for local food and trails and waterfalls to visit.We particularly enjoyed having access to a wide variety of cooking options in our room as we enjoy cooking. The hosts provided many options including an air fryer, and hot plates, along with spices, cooking utensils and bowls, plates, ect. We really didn't need anything other than the ingredients we brought ourself.We only wish we had more time off work to have stayed longer, this is a really great place to be and we hope to visit again someday.

The best hosts ever!!! They provided the best communication and helped us so much, we would stay with them anytime! We really appreciate how helpful and nice they are, they really make your stay 10 times better!

I cant overstate the great time that me, my wife and my 6lb Chihuahua Snickers had. Kathy and Charlie were there to greet us when we pulled up. And the room was So Charming with a great views. So much better than any nearest hotel.Thank You Blue Mountain Getaways.

Absolutely wonderful studio with every detail thought out! From the first aid and sewing kits to every kitchen appliance you can imagine, to extra blankets and even items to take on your hikes, this cabin was out fitted perfectly! Super nice hosts and so welcoming. They took really good care of us! Very clean and beautifully decorated. We will definitely go back! Highly recommend!

This is exactly as advertised. The owners are super nice. The place is totally clean and has all the little things that make the stay easier (coffee, etc...)This is a great place for a short stay in Brevard for a single person or a couple. I would for sure stay here again.

We were only passing through, so it was a short stay. We would like to have stayed longer. The place was so cute, cozy and quiet. The hosts provided so many little extra touches and amenities. We enjoyed our stay and will return there next time we are traveling to visit family.
