Birdsong - Relaxation, Activities & Culture In Quaint Shoreline Town

My second time to stay at Birdsong . Convenient location and scenic landscape. Friendly hosts . We loved the changing of the leaves. Fall foliage was breaktaking .

Exceptional home and stay! Clean. Cozy. Relaxing. Peaceful. The best experience we've had, yet.

This place is gorgeous! There are beautiful views of trees out of every window, high ceilings, a comfortable bed, and all of the amenities you could want (including wine and muffins upon arrival). It is very clean. Hosts are very nice and showed me everything when I arrived. The high point is probably the little waterfall and koi pond that you walk past on the way to the place, and the hummingbirds that come to the feeder by the front window. There is a required 75 cleaning fee that is noted on the listing but not included in the VRBO total price. It must be paid by cash or check.

Terrific hosts that have a wonderful, well appointed place to relax and enjoy. The walkway to the font door is like walking through a forest that included a waterfall with a Koi pond. Anything we needed was available to us throughout Birdsong! Would definitely recommend!!!

Tucked away yet not far from town, Birdsong is a real gem. A path welcomes you from the parking area as it winds past a small waterfall & fish pond to a beautiful patio with table, umbrella & chairs. Once inside you'll find everything you need bathed in the ample natural light & under the cathedral ceilings. Kathleen & Dean are caring, generous hosts, also real gems.

Beautiful and spotless. Birdsong is aptly named. The spot is perfect for aa couple. We enjoyed the well appointed set up. Our hosts were welcoming. We'd love to stay again, if the opportunity presents.

My stay at Birdsong was absolutely wonderful! Kathleen and Dean are amazing, thoughtful hosts, and have provided everything you need (and more) to make it truly feel like a home away from home. The property is absolutely beautiful. It is the perfect place to take some time away and basque in the serenity that Birdsong has to offer. My only regret is that I didn't get to spend more time enjoying Birdsong because I was attending an event that kept me busy. I hope to visit again myself, and I have already recommended Birdsong to others. (Also, Connecticut is gorgeous in the Fall!)

Our hosts, Kathleen & Dean were warm and welcoming as were our accommodations, bright, clean and charming. After a day of exploring, we found ourselves looking forward to coming back to Birdsong. Thankyou for a wonderful memory.

The place is done so charming, like a A-frame on a ski slope but instead set in the woods of Madison. Very well done. Highly recommended.
