Very clean, great location with many places to eat within walking distance. Had many little extra's which made the stay great. Would stay again!

The house is fully stocked with everything you can think of and need, bandaids, snacks, toiletries, washing detergent etc. The Tv is signed into the apps, and it’s just an easy breezy time. It’s located perfectly to restaurants and bakeries. I love the location and the host was very perfect! I would stay again

Overall, a fantastic find. Two small issues we noticed at check-in - dirty dishes found in oven and a broken glass in cabinet. Quickly overlooked because we couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vacation in the “Windy City”. The Host was wonderful and quick to communicate! We will be back !!!

This was the best place to stay in!! So close to Downtown but yet far enough that it feels like you are in a different town! Well worth it.

The apartment is practical and clean, has everything we needed. Communication with John was smooth. Having a designated parking spot in this center location is a big plus for guests with a car.

It was a great apartment in a great location. The rooms were clean and the kitchen was a good size. Loved the neighborhood and all the food options. Had to uber or take public transport to get anywhere else but we knew that anyways. We would definitely stay again!

It was an amazing place to stay. The rooms were warm and inviting. The living room was comfortable with room for all of us. The bedrooms had wonderful beds and bedding. It was located in area with a variety of restaurants and bars including a breakfast restaurant, Italian restaurants, and bars/sports bars. The host was responsive to questions via the VRBO app or by text. I would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely space! We had everything we needed, including extra linens and cleaning supplies, for our stay. Super easy to get in and the host is really responsive. Great location near a lot of restaurants, shops, and public transit. The parking spot behind the building was incredibly convenient and the extra parking passes were useful as well! Great stay, I'd happily come again.

The space was even better than the pictures! Clean and inviting, and the perfect location for our stay. Next door to incredible food options and very easy to navigate public transportation anywhere we wanted to go. Kitchen was well stocked with anything we need to prepare meals, plenty of towels and washer and dryer a huge plus. Communication with John the host was easy and he quickly responded to anything we needed. Upon arrival we noticed the fan in one of the bedrooms wasnt working and he quickly had it repaired without any interruption to our stay. Would highly recommend staying here, we will come back if we return to Chicago again!

We had a wonderful stay in Little Italy! The apartment was so cute and beautifully decorated. The beds were so comfortable with very nice linens and bedding! We had dinner at Pompei, a cute Italian restaurant, authentic food! Delicious. All within walking distance. We had breakfast at Stax that was delicious too.Book this apartment, you will not be disappointed!!

The apartment was perfect, and the neighborhood felt very safe. Easy walking distance to the 'L' which made travelling around the city a breeze. The apartment was very well stocked with everything you might need, including a few snacks. We would highly recommend this property to anyone considering a trip to Chicago!

John was a great communicator and the property was exactly as described. The location was peaceful with many different restaurant options right outside the front door. The space was clean and all the furniture was very comfortable. I will definitely book here again if possible in the future.

We came for Lalapalooza with our daughters and their friends. The location was nestled in little Italy and absolutely perfect! The owner truly went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and answered so many questions for me prior and during the visit. The apartment was clean, spacious and well maintained. The kitchen was perfect to make meals before and after the concert for the kids. The WiFi was a strong signal, beds were comfy, and cozy! I can’t say enough great things about John and this apartment. Don’t pass this up! We will definitely be back again for a family trip.

Great apartment! Easy to find, beautiful inside with comfy beds and AC (it was hot our trip). Apartment is located in a very pretty neighborhood and community. Easy to access downtown and other parts of city. Would happily book again when visiting this area of the city!

Great apartment in little Italy

Amazing location. Great base of operations to explore Chicago. Good food in walking distance. Apartment is fully equipped with dishwasher, washer, dryer, two full baths and three bedrooms. The bedrooms are stocked with comfortable robes and the owner provides some snacks and treats which were appreciated by the kids, young and old. Be aware the building is quite old and the walls do not block a lot of noise and the floors are creaky. If you need quiet to sleep look elsewhere. If you want to be in the middle of the action (and hear it) this is your place.

I struggle to find anything bad to say about this property. It was exactly as seen in the photos on the listing. The location is in a quiet area but close to a lot of attractions and restaurants/coffee shops. The place is clean, the beds are very comfortable and there are ample extra bedding and towels. We all enjoyed the thoughtful touches the host provided like a jar with quick snacks and tampons in the bathroom (IYKYK!). Also, having free on site parking is a luxury in a city like Chicago and the parking at this location is in an alley right behind the building.I suppose the only thing that would be a downside for some is there are only stairs to get to the apartment so if you have difficulty climbing stairs, this would not be the place for you. For us, this was not a problem.We had great communication from our host, John. We would recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Chicago.

Friends who met the first day of college in 1976 chose Chicago for our annual trip and Bella Vista as our accommodations. The apartment looked just like the photos…clean and nicely appointed, in a good neighborhood, close to the city. We enjoyed our visit!

This was one of the best rental experiences I have had. The location was terrific- accessible by blue line straight from O’Hare; many restaurant options within a short walk; multiple pretty parks in the neighborhood. The unit was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Unlike many places I’ve stayed in the past, the apartment was actually tastefully decorated. It was also especially we-equipped with kitchen supplies as well as lovely snacks, excellent coffee selection, laundry soap, and bathroom/shower supplies. It seemed that the host is very mindful of detail, like ensuring easy access to bedside outlets with strategically place extension cords. I will aim to stay here if I ever have the good luck to return to Chicago.

Very clean, organized, away from downtown so you dont have to deal with heavy traffic. A lot of restaurants on the same street. Parking in back was a little tight with our big SUV we rented, not recommended for multiple cars. Stairs were a little hard to walk up and down with heavy luggage. Pretty quiet area, except the bar next door on weekends but not too loud. Overall very good experience.

Came to Chicago to attend daughter's graduation. We had apt 2F and everything was perfect for our family stay. 3 bedrooms all with queen beds. Apt was furnished and all of the necessary items to cook in the kitchen. Only 10 minute walk to the Pink & Blue lines. It was graduation weekend and the apt above was celebrating late into the night during one night we were there. Don't attribute that to all stays considering it was Grad Weekend. Overall very nice stay and would stay again when back in Chicago.

Several great restaurants very close by. Safe location. Little extras (snacks, extra linens, stocked kitchen, toiletries, games, to go menus) were appreciated. There was music at the restaurant next door in the evenings, but that’s to be expected when staying in an area with restaurants.

The place is so cute! Looked clean, smelled clean and felt clean! Short drive to downtown easy to get around and plenty of stuff around the place if not going downtown! The rooms were spacious the kitchen was so nice and the living room was the perfect amount of space for 5-6 of us. I would like some shelves or trays in the shower but other than that it was great!

Overall, we had a good time at our stay in Chicago. The location of the apartment was good for us in terms of an easy and delicious breakfast/lunch option nearby (Stax) and an easy walk to the train for commuting around the Chicago area. It was clean and well-stocked. Very helpful to have a parking spot behind the building (accessible by a back ally). I had several clarifying questions, and the host was quick to respond. The street noise was to be expected, but several reviews mention the noise from the neighbors upstairs and they are not wrong. Noise-cancelling air buds helped several nights. Also, from what we saw, the neighborhood is Italian in name only, so manage your expectations if you have something like the Hill in St. Louis in mind.

great price with parking in a GREAT neighborhood. We were not bothered by the music from the bar. that may be worse in the summer, but zero issue for us in March.people we were visiting all could not believe what a great deal it is.The candy jar was a very nice touch. zero problems and the owner (John) was excellent to work with.

John was a great communicator. Plenty of amenities. Good beds and lots of towels. Love the washer and dryer availability. Great location for buses and pink line. Bring your ear plugs if you need quiet on the weekends. ;)

This property is super cute and really appreciated the spacious layout. The adults and adult aged kids could all have separate rooms/bathrooms! It was really clean throughout and well stocked. Plenty of restaurants/bars in walkable distance. The owner was super responsive to any questions/concerns. We had a rental car and utilized an onsite spot in the rear of the building. There is a quite a bit of sound bleed from the bar next store until after midnight - even in the middle of the week - so if you’re a light sleeper this is not the property for you. They also use scented laundry detergent - if you have allergies or sensitivity to perfumes you could maybe message the owner about an alternative option.

We stayed at Bella Villa for the location and proximity to the events we wanted to attend while we were in Chicago for a couple of days. The apartment is nicely updated and felt spacious for our family of 4. We did hear quite a bit of street noise in the front and heard the people upstairs also. But it is CHICAGO and the apartment is in an old building so you have to expect some noise! The parking in the back is VERY tight but it was wonderful to have a dedicated space. We loved all the restaurant options up and down the street. The beds were comfortable with the exception of the sofa bed which could stand to be updated. We didn't have any real issues during our stay so our interactions with the host were very minimal. We really enjoyed the fun art work in the apartment.

Super clean and comfy 3 bedroom for a family of 6 travelling (grandparents, parents, and kids). Very clean, very well stocked. Super safe neighbourhood with good safe transit to downtown very easy. Some great restaurants very close (Peanut Park was a hidden gem). Strong recommendation. Great value and a clean safe and fun time for all ages.

We had a great time staying at this apartment. Our family decided to take a fall break trip to Chicago where one of us was also running the Chicago Marathon. The apartment gave us plenty of space to spread out, was well stocked, very clean, and had easy access to public transportation. The communication was timely and easy as well. We are grateful for our time there and hope to be back!

This apartment has everything you need! Very cozy and well appointed. There are even soft robes in the closets. Very clean, easy access to bus lines literally around the corner, 10-15 min walk to trains. It is a little noisy on Friday and Saturday nights from establishment downstairs, but earplugs fixed that. Would stay here again.

Three of us stayed for 3 nights at this beautiful apartment and it was wonderful! Super clean and organized, but still very warm and welcoming. Communication with owner was easy and timely. We loved the property and its proximity to the city! This is a bustling area with a lot of businesses and foot traffic from the college, but this property is still quiet and cozy….will stay here again!

I found the property to be in excellent condition. Well stocked with lots of amenities and very comfortable. Neighborhood was safe and not too far from the loop. Only downside was bar traffic downstairs getting loud on the weekend but otherwise a perfect place to stay. Host was very responsive.

Sfaratthons (The Idlers) came to Chicago from Italy to play at the Democratic National Convention. The proximity of this property to the United Center and Little Italy was perfect, and really helped us host these artists at a high level while allowing them to enjoy a place where their own language was common. We are extremely grateful to the manager for all accommodations extended these artists.

Thoroughly enjoyed the unit and found it well-stocked with things travelers need. It took a long time to get the actual address, VRBO wouldn’t give it. We wanted to know how close we were to transit. Owner finally gave it a few days beforehand which was fine. Would stay again and would recommend to others.

Went for the weekend to see some friends. We had two couples plus two kids under 1. The apartment was a great location - lots of stuff around to do but wasn't ever noisy! Everything was very clean and comfortable (especially the linens). It also came with a parking spot which is a huge bonus in Chicago!

We enjoyed our 4 night stay this past weekend. John answered quickly the couple questions we had with check-in and that process was very smooth. To our surprise going into the weekend Italian Fest was happening in front of the building so that created an extra activity for us to enjoy. The space was clean and we enjoyed having the amenities of home. We definitely will keep this place in mind for future trips.

It is the perfect combo of excellent city offerings (restaurants, bars, bodega), together with a haven to retreat from the city - and there's even a parking spot! What an amazing property furnished and supplied with everything you could need. The area has lovely restaurants and access to 2 supermarkets. Convenient for travel into the city and local bars very friendly. Host was amazing. Even though we got a little hiccup when we checked in, key was not left in the lockbox, but John responded and came solve the issue shortly. The stay met our expectations, the apartment was nice and clean. I saw ppl complaining about the noise from the bar downstairs, but we couldn’t hear anything. A couple of notes for John, if the shampoo, body wash are labeled, that would be helpful; the lock on the back door needs maintenance. Thanks again for hosting!

Our family of four visited for 10 days and the property was great for us. Good space and comfortable bedding, we appreciated the two full baths, well appointed kitchen (with coffee and snacks!) and the dedicated off street parking.
