Beautiful, well-appointed, 1-bedroom apt with gorgeous views

Lovely space, with convenient touches like dishwasher and toiletry products. Hosts are very kind and welcoming, including fresh half and half for your morning caffeine!

New construction, bright and highly functional design, apartment separate from the house and very quiet. Views of open fields. Owner provided high quality amenities, eg. local cream for coffee, Vermont-made hair products. Unique sleeper-sofa (single) with purpose-made foam topper and sheets made this a comfortable sleeping option for my daughter. Short drive to Middlebury College, my main reason for booking here. Easy communication with owners who responded to all messages quickly. We had a lovely stay for graduation weekend.

I so enjoyed the completely equipped garage apartment and the washer and dryer. I used the computer/writing desk and walked my dog on the rural dirt roads throughout the development. The property itself felt very private, surrounded by trees, lawns, and lovely views. Janie and her husband were lovely hosts: she was there if there was a need (there were some ants and she helped with that) but left me alone to come and go as I pleased. There were even binoculars by the window and descriptions encouraging me to enjoy her visiting birds. Lovely comfy bed and plenty of towels and shower supplies. I hope to be back!

Don’t pass up this pet-friendly gem near Midd! Beautiful property 10 minutes from campus with mountain views. Everything clean and new. Plenty of space to stretch out and kitchenette was a plus for a weekend trip. Could easily be long-term rental.

Accommodations were not as advertised there was no double sofa bed which was needed for our party of 3. Owner took zero accountability and made no effort to make it right after stating they would. I’ve stayed in a lot of rentals in the past few decades and never had an issue. I would not stay here and recommend you do not if your group size is more than 2 or if you are allergic to pet dander. It is also unsuitable for a longer stay. To be clear it is a small, narrow sofa and a thin cot size stained foam pad that is similar to what you’d use under a sleeping bag in a tent is what was provided for a 3 week rental.

Wonderful Stay – Feels Like Home!This place truly feels like HOME! The owners live on-site and are incredibly kind and helpful—they genuinely want to make sure you have everything you need.The house is well-stocked and thoughtfully put together. I loved that it had nice dishes instead of dollar-store basics, and the overall setup was clean and comfortable. The only things I personally would add are oven mitts and maybe a Keurig, but I knew ahead of time that it was a regular coffee pot, so I brought my own.The location is quiet, pet friendly, and the morning views are absolutely top-notch. We didn’t spend a ton of time on property this trip, but I definitely plan to return—hopefully we earn a 5-star rating as great guests, too!Highly recommend this stay!

Lovely country spot very convent to Middlebury - beautiful view

Second visit and found this apartment just as spotless and comfortable as before. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Wonderfully quiet. Gorgeous views. Great proximity to Middlebury College.

Janie was a gracious host and had everything prepped for us when we arrived. The location is just a few minutes outside of Middlebury and has great access to attractions in the Champlain Valley. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The surrounding property is beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed our stay!

Everything was perfect.

Wonderful apartment in the country near Middlebury. It is very quiet and the rooms are spacious and modern in style. There is a full kitchen and washer & dryer which was great. The view from the living room window was wonderful. I stayed there for vacation and went hiking & swimming nearby. Also Morgan Horse Farm is 10 minutes away.

This place was a perfect place to stay while visiting family. The apartment was great. Private but open feeling. Good communication with the hosts. Short drive to town, etc.

It was a quick stay, but we would return in a heartbeat. The property was in an exquisitely beautiful and quiet location. The apartment was very comfortable and clean with all the needed amenities. Our host was a wonderful communicator and helped to make our visit extremely pleasant.

The stay was ok but they need a new couch. You can't call that another bed when it doesn't open into a bed and the seat area is so worn the bars hit your ribs all night. Also, they need blinds on the front living area windows. You can't sleep past 5am when the sun comes up. Lastly, they need a better trash system.

Everything was spectacular. It is a place where you can write a book. Everything was perfect. Thank you for the wonderful accommodations. Down to the sweet nectarines left in frig with true half and half Fresh and good ole VT maple syrup. Honestly, just incredible.

Majestic landscape. I'm used to city living, and it was a welcome break

A wonderful location with a spectacular view of Vermont’s winter landscape. Quiet yet graced with vivid birdlife. Just minutes from Middlebury and close to Nordic and Alpine Skiing. This modern apartment has all the amenities to make your stay warm and memorable.

The apartment was clean, charming, had lovely views, and was very convenient to the town of Middlebury. Our hosts were wonderful. We had an issue with our vehicle and they graciously helped us deal with it. If you're visiting the Champaign Valley I heighly recommend this place.

Responsive hosts. Well equipped apartment. Bright, sunny. Pleasantly and comfortably decorated. Loved the pops of yellow and all the little birds.Looking forward to a return trip.
