Beautiful, quaint studio close to Oval Beach

Size of the studio apartment was perfect for a couple. Enjoyed sitting on the front deck and watching the water.

We had an amazing stay! The location was perfect! We had a fire 2 nights and enjoyed the sun in the front yard during the day. We loved all the recommendations for food and shopping. The space was just what we needed - quiet, clean, comfortable, and welcoming. We will definitely stay here again.

We were unable to stay in this space due to an issue that occurred prior to our arrival. Denise was quick to offer the unit to the left of this unit. The space was clean and neat. We were very comfortable and really enjoyed our stay. It is close to Douglas Beach and Oval Beach. Great restaurants and shopping nearby

My significant other and I had a nice stay at this property. It was clean, kitchen had everything, location was nice, and easy to follow directions. I originally thought I had the upstairs unit with a view of the lake but the photos were a little misleading. We had the downstairs unit and the view of the lake was not as good. But it we were just a short walk to the chain ferry which was great and so close to oval beach. That you could not beat. We got to catch a beautiful sunset there!There were a few things that could've made the place great - since we could not control the temperature, we had to rely on a heater and the wood burning stove. The shower water temperature was also warm/cold so we jumped in and out really fast. I contacted the host and they responded quickly saying the water tank is shared with the upstairs. So unfortunately no real solution there. We also noticed other small details like the pump to the shampoo was broken, and the toilet paper holder and shelves in the bathroom were a little loose. We appreciated the sheet of recommendations for food, activities, and places to go!

We love this neighborhood. Quiet. Views of river and Lake Kalamazoo. Wonderful trails and hikes just down the road. Easy access to everything Saugatuck and Douglas have to offer!One quirk: The thermostat is not located in this unit. Heaters and fans were provided and we were comfortable.

Loved sitting on porch looking out over Lake Kalamazoo loved walking to Oval Beach and hiking trails in nearby Dunes. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Very quiet. Perfect for the two of us.

This studio was spacious, modern and spotless. Three minute drive to Oval Beach and a few minutes to downtown Saugatuck and Douglas. Comfy bed and great porch and fire pit area where you can watch the boats on the lake across the street. Studio is bigger and even nicer in person than the pics.

This property was strategically located with a great view of the lake and a great atmosphere. The property was clean updated with great amenities. I had a great experience.

This is a perfect place to stay! Walking distance to the chain link ferry to take you into downtown Saugatuck, and a short hike to oval beach. Lake views, great patio set up with fire pit. Comfortable temperature controlled room with ceiling fan. The manager was easily accessible and made sure we had everything we needed.

The location of the property made it easy for us to explore the area. Walking distance to oval beach and a quick ride on the chain ferry to downtown Saugatuk which is a nice little town. The covered porch was a nice place for morning coffee.

Denise was a great host and the property was well located. Our neighbors during our stay were wonderful and fun to hang out with.

First time stay in a Studio Apartment and this Studio in Saugatuck did not disappoint. This studio had everything we needed, clean and modern with all your everyday day necessities. Relaxing on the porch overlooking the nearby street and water was just an added bonus. Can’t wait to tell my friends about Saugatuck and hopefully stay again in this wonderful home unit.

I liked the location of the property, amenities and off-street parking. The host responded quickly to a couple of issues upon arrival and I was pleased with the resolution. The housekeeper was timely, pleasant and helpful. The Rating is based on lack of full disclosure and misrepresentation of noise level from up stairs unit. #1 - I was irritated to receive a form letter notification the night before check-in that a $400 deposit was required when this was not outlined in the booking. I had to contact the host for clarification. Host responded the next a.m. when she received my email. Full disclosure on deposit and/or credit hold needs clearly disclosed upfront. This is not an VRBO policy but is set by owner. I have rented several owner managed VRBO properties and have not experienced this before. #2 - Note, you may hear some light footsteps in the upstairs unit. is how the property is listed/described. Experience: Upstairs guests arrived at 11:30 p.m. Friday night. Heavy pacing with hard soled shoes on wood floors, roller bags and moving furniture went on till 12:30 a.m. I finally got back to sleep and the heavy walking started again across the floor and went on for another 15 minutes. Walking around in the upper unit is clearly heard and sounds heavy - no way around it.

The location of Hook, Wine and sinker was perfect. Walking distance to the chaine ferry, with short hike to lake Michigan . Denise helped out with great advice on everything from food ,hikind to sunsets.

Charming suite. Front porch overlooking the water perfect spot for morning coffee or happy hour glass of wine.
