Beautiful One Bedroom Ocean View Gem

Lisa went above and beyond our expectations she made sure we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The apartment and location was a little gem. Thank you so much.

The property was as listed and shown in the photos. All kitchen amenities were available and worked. Overall, we had a good experience. The only downside was that there was only air-conditioning only in the bedroom and none in the living room. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

We spent a week at Freshwater Bay Apartments for our anniversary, it was not long enough! I had messaged Lisa asking where I could get flowers made in the same arrangement as my wife's wedding bouquet, and she took it upon herself to get the flowers ordered and she personally delivered then to the property before we got there. It was so special.First impression driving into the property along Spring Garden road beside the power plant leaves you a little bit skeptical, but then you turn into the parking lot of Freshwater Bay Apartments and it all changes. As you get out of the car, you notice all the flowers and very clean parking lot. You then walk through the gate, and get your first view of the ocean and you are left speechless with the incredible views. Then you climb the stairs and open the door to the apartment, immediately your eyes go to the patio and the ocean view...wow! The apartment is clean and spacious, and is exactly as the pictures have shown it. Every morning when you open the bedroom door, you say wow, come look at the water babe. The Beach is clean and quiet, you can walk either direction forever! It's just amazing, and we can't say enough about the property and beach!For those that are worried about the electrical plant, we never noticed it and I wouldn't let that deter you from booking this breath taking location directly on the beach.At some point in our travels we will return!

This was our sixth and best visit to the island paradise of Barbados! We loved the slightly off-the-beaten-path location and the proximity to small local hangouts and the fish market at Pile Bay. The apartment was beautifully appointed, very clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed during our ten-day stay. We LOVED the balcony! Listening to the waves as we watched the sun go down each evening was bliss. And drinking our coffee as the island woke up was the perfect start to each day. We enjoyed daily swims in the ocean - the beach was ideal for swimming and long walks. We enjoyed the great Stade's rum-tasting beach experience, it was just a short walk south along the beach to get there. La Cabane restaurant (also on the beach) is a slightly longer but manageable walk north. The owners, Lisa and Chris were very responsive and superb hosts. We hope to return one day soon!

We had a great stay over the US Thanksgiving holiday and Barbados Independence Day holiday (sheer coincidence) - 11/27 - 12/1. All the positive reviews need not be repeated, they are all accurate. We must say that the light & power plant smoke or humming is barely noticed (if at all) with all else happening around you: mini resort with gazebo, loungers, stunning beach; cruise ships, sailboats, tankers and fishing boats for distractions. The property for us was in a remarkable quiet location immersed in the culture and still secluded by your private apartment. The laundry room is shared by everyone so it gets busy after 9:00 am so start early or late afternoon (3 washers ($5BD coins each) and 2 free dryers). Skip across the street for basic lunch or the light and power cafeteria (parking lot) for alternate lunch options which finishes around noonish or earlier. SeaCat Restaurant was a wonderful experience for dinner (get there early). Lisa was a pleasure to communicate with before and during our short trip. Thanks.

Beach right on doorstep. It’s a little out of the way but that’s what we like.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment was clean and nicely decorated. And the views from the balcony were breathtaking. We particularly loved the welcome sign on the wall with our name on it! Overall, a really great place to stay, highly recommended.

This property is tucked away in an area that doesn’t see swarms of tourists. Most days we were the only ones on the beach. There is a power station nearby that does emit a humming noise some days, but for the most part we didn’t notice it. Beach and water is amazing and picturesque. Property manager was very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed. Loved that we could easily access any area of the island from it easily. The unit was very clean and comfortable. We were more concerned with the beach when booking and the beach was exactly how the photos looked. You could walk quite a ways down the beach. We were able to do a lot of snorkelling right by the property.
