Beautiful Norman apartment in character house 200m from the beach

It was very nice, the appartment is cozy and the garden is wonderful

We had a lovely few days in this charming gite a few hundred yards inland from the promenade at Veulettes-sur-mer. It was located in a very quiet side road with little traffic and surrounded by a pretty garden and lots of trees that attracted much bird song. The accommodation was on the first floor of a detached house. It was clean, spacious, well-equipped and cosy. We particularly enjoyed the views from the large balcony equipped with table, seating, and loungers. Off-road parking is available in the front garden. Our host Maxence was friendly and helpful.

Very nice flat that has everything you need, particularly the sunny terrace was great! Walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bakery and small supermarket; fresh vegetables, meat & fish sold at small stands directly at the beach; the host Maxence is very responsive & very helpful at all times!

Our whole family enjoyed this stay very much. The apartment is very nice, well-equipped with a very nice terrace, 3 minutes walk to the sea. The photos correspond to the reality.

Appartment is very tidy, close to the sea and the terrace has a great view. Town has a small shop, 5 restaurants and a casino. Within a 10 minute drive you will find a Carrefour and a town with all facilities you could need during your vacation.

We stayed here for 10 days in August 2016. It's a great little apartment. Lovely sunny terrace. Plenty of space for the 3 of us. The kitchen was really well equipped, with everything you could need. The terrace gives some private outside space with a view over the trees to the sea. Maxence was a great host, very helpful and friendly. Made sure we were comfortable and found us some deck chairs for sitting in the garden. He also supplied plenty of towels and all linen for the beds. It's about a 5 minute walk down to the beech and the restaurants - all of which were good and all have childrens menus. There's a bakery in the town and a small supermarket - which isn't that well stocked, so we used 2 that are about 10 mins drive away - one in Canx Barville and the other on the way into St Valery en Caux. There's mini golf, tennis courts and a sandy play park for kids to enjoy in the town. There's also other children's activities on the seafront in St Valery en Caux - about 10 mins away. We also spent a day at Lac du Caniel, around 15 mins away - which is a water sports park, with lots of other activities for kids. The town had it's summer festival when we were there and although we missed the day activities because we were in Paris (which is a straight forward 2 1//2 hour drive) we very much enjoyed the evening concerts and fireworks. We had a great holiday in this part of Normandy and would definitely recommend this property to others.
