Beautiful Buffalo Apartment in Historic Allentown Neighborhood

This place was a dream. My daughter and I felt right at home and loved every bit of it! Adorable and perfect location, I wish we needed to stay longer!

Perfect 1 bedroom apt for a single or couple. The place had everything you would need. I was Right off of Elmwood and close to everything. The place is clean and Julia is awesome. I will stay here again for future visits and highly recommend it here.Tammy

The house is a cute house in a nice neighborhood close to lots of restaurants and shops. The apartment was clean, and neat. It seemed to have everything you need. I only say seem because I went out the whole time and didn’t buy groceries or cook at the apartment. Julia, the owner, was friendly and helpful. I would definitely come and stay again.

Our stay was what we needed. The apartment had clean sheets and towels, was in a decent location, and I appreciated the ability to have different temps in different rooms. These positives, however, were a bit overshadowed by the layers of dust on many surfaces and questionable cleanliness of plates, cups, and silverware. To end on a positive note, the host was easy to communicate with and made sure to check in with us soon after we arrived.

Great stay! Loved the little porch out back. Clean and comfortable. Only negative was a 50 parking ticket for not switching sides of the road.. the signs were not viewable from the house.

The property was PERFECT!! the secret patio off the bedroom was such a SURPRISE. Location was in great, walking distance to Allentown with views on street looking at all the houses. Cant wait to revisit!! Will book again

Julia was the perfect host for us, available if we had an issue (which we didn't) but otherwise discreet (Riley was an added bonus) the property was central to Buffalo's attractions and a few doors from Betty's where we had a lovely breakfast. Local bars were all good and music every night at Nietzsches was a bonus. Thanks again Julia and Buffalo for an enjoyable stay.

We came up a few days before a hockey game. The apartment was exactly how it was listed. Walking distance to many restaurants and drinking establishments. Safe community. Friendly people. Easy Uber ride to downtown near the arena or waterfront.

We had a great time in Buffalo and the apartment was just what we needed. This place was cozy and comfortable. Julia responded to everything we had a question about such things to do in the area or other suggestions. I would definitely stay here again. The place was neat and clean and in a great location to all we engaged in from love plays to great restaurants. We toured a local mansion. Loved it! We don’t get time as a couple with busy lives but definitely did with this visit.

We had an amazing stay at this cute little upper-unit apartment in Buffalo! It was the perfect spot for celebrating my husband's 48th birthday. The apartment was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. We loved how conveniently located it was—so many great restaurants and attractions were within walking distance. Visiting the Martin House was a highlight, and we had a fantastic time exploring the area. Overall, a wonderful experience—highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Buffalo!

We had the best stay at Julia’s! The apartment was minutes away from downtown Buffalo and there are plenty of things to do within walking distance. If we’re ever in Buffalo again, we’ll definitely be staying there. Julia, and her dog are wonderful hosts.

Julia's place was perfect for my 3 week stay while working at Shea's. It's a comfy, cozy apartment and the neighborhood is fantastic. Betty's on the corner is a real treat. Loved the skylights. Parking was easy. Julia even surprised us with holiday treats at Christmas! Great Buffalo stay.

Buffalo should come with a warning on how cold it could get, that’s aside this place is amazing, stayed at the Allen district, near to local restaurants and fast food locations, great neighborhood nice and quiet. Love that this location has a kitchen with cookware, has able to make breakfast during my stay. 20 minutes away from Highmark park home of the Buffalo Bills. City is accessible easily with car. Would stay here again.

From the moment we pulled up in front of this property we were impressed. This was the first time we used VRBO and definitely won’t be the last. The moment we stepped inside the door all are worries were put aside, the pictures online were spot on. This place was clean as could be, and ready when expected, Julia (homeowner) was very pleasant and accommodating, answering questions and adding suggestions as we were new to this area. The rooftop terrace off the bedroom was definitely an added bonus with its table and chairs to enjoy morning coffee. This is definitely the place we would stay anytime we return to Buffalo! This apartment was beautiful and tucked into a cozy little corner of Allentown. This was our first time in New York and we felt very safe and comfortable here. The host was amazing, she was super helpful with us when we were arriving and gave us multiple suggestions for any type of food we asked for! While the host is in the same building, you feel totally alone like you have the entire building to yourself. There’s plenty of local food options and a few groceries stores within a short walking distance, which was very nice since we didn’t to drive everywhere we went. Overall, I would definitely come back and stay in this wonderful apartment again!

We were looking for a specific location to stay nearby relatives when I discovered Allentown! What a surprisingly pleasant, trendy, urban & youthful up-and-coming neighborhood! I was amazed with all the new growth and possibility! We toured the neighborhood on numerous walks & found many properties being renovated and new families moving in. We found it to be a quint, historic little town with the most convenient & delicious corner restaurant @ Betty’s, it’s a must! We enjoyed having the entire upper apartment to ourselves and brought our little girl Kali with us (our six month mini golden doodle) she was also happy & comfortable at our home away from home for the weekend! We met our host Julia on our way out, she was friendly, social & gave us some breakfast destinations! Julia is a considerate host with good taste & we would definitely stay again the next time we’re visiting the area! Thanks Kor~Kat & Kali!

Perfect space for what I needed! Relaxing, communicative, and wonderful!

We stayed two weeks. The apartment is in the cutest area of Allentown surrounded by many historic homes. The house is also very cute with a front porch and beautiful wood entrance door. Julia lives in the ground floor apartment with her big fluffy dog and the place we stayed is up one flight of stairs with separate entrance. The apartment is cute, has a stocked kitchen, sky lights, a small roof deck to have a coffee in the morning, recently renovated bathroom, comfortable bed. There is a bonus office in case you want to work privately, which we did. The wifi was strong and consistent throughout pretty much the whole two weeks which allowed us to do Zoom sessions at same time. This is an historic home with charm so expect it to have creaky floors and molding with layers of paint. The bedroom does not have AC bc the air and light source is a door leading to the deck, not a window. There are fans and a portable a/c in the living room that if set up correctly together can chill the bedroom. It's a bit jerry rigged but worked more than less during hot as hell August. Julia is a down to earth and responsive person. We would stay again!
