Beautiful apartment in Vilamoura

The washing machine did not work and the host bought a new washing maching and had it installed within a few days.

Close to Vilamoura centre (less than a 10 minute drive) and to some great beaches but safe from the crowds, in a very peaceful and relaxed resort. The space outside is amazing. The apartment itself is nice although not very spacious. Cleaning is ok but could be better. Overall, quite nice stay. Perfect for kids. Would come back.

The amenities at the apartment were excellent and everything you could possibly wish for. Big spaces apartment and a great swimming pool. Owner was hard to contact before arrival which was a bit stressful but apart from that no complaints and a great place to stay for a few days. Very quiet location & relaxing location. About a 10 minute taxi into vilamoura marina, about €6 in an unber.

In the middle of the golfcourse there are 4 similare building in total 25 appartements. All share a (cold) comunual pool which is rather big. Greenkeepers working several days, great view on the shared grass garden. Appartment was spaciouc clean and complete with all you can think of in the kitchen. We will return!

We have stayed several times in Vilamoura with only good experience, and know the very beautiful monte laguna area. but this one was exceptionaly bad. Everything seamed to be nice at the internet photos, the owner seamed to be nice at the internet conversation. The dissapointment was big on our arrival. We were taken care of the cleaning lady which could not speak any other language except portugeese, which made the conversation very difficult. We found uncomfortable plastic chairs for dining, tiny deckchairs, you could not sit on and a small two person outside table. From the terrace as well from any windows we could not see any sun during the daylight hours which made a certain degree of humidity staying permanently in the apartment! Dirty kitchen items, shower and bathroom not clean. Only two towels per person for one week. All this we complained with the owner and we proposed to him to leave the apartment on half time and pay halfe of the rental fee (we had booked for six weeks). The owner did not show any sign of compromise to reimbourse anything for the not used time in the apartment, not even a little money. In contrary, he kept the full amount of money we payed in his pocket which we hade payed in advance. He reffered to clauses in international hotel service conditions which however he could never give us a written refference on. In the end we left the apartment after two weeks, completely frustrated. It may be mentioned that he wanted to rent his private car for a horrendous price, fortunately we did not agree on this. All in all a very unpleasant experience. We do not wish to repeat that by ourselfes, nor by any other travelling person.
