Beachview Beauty 50 steps to a private beach! BYOT

We are from Houston but live in London, England. We’ve stayed at this beach house two summers in a row. It’s a lovely place with great access to the beach and easy drive onto the sea wall and downtown Galveston. It’s perfect for short and long term stays. Highly recommend!

First time Vrbo user. Went with my husband, my daughter and her two friends and my little dogs for sweet 16th Birthday weekend. Stayed 2 days. Our rental was upstairs with our own entrance. Another rental down stairs was just liked promised. Able to see the beach from the balcony and just a walk away to the beach. Big rooms and beautiful bathrooms. Super cute kitchen and living room. Nice outside sitting area and walk around balcony. Would’ve love the side yard area more, if the fence was fixed with an entrance door. But overall enjoyed our stay very much!!!! Thank you for allowing us to stay at your house.

Local was good. Didn’t realize it was a shared house we stayed upstairs which was nicely decorated. Below were other renters. We had trouble with lock upon arrival. The refrigerator was not clean. Would not rent again.

It was great spot for little family.. even tho I just rents for the week the place was awesome.

The beach house was beautiful and well equipped with everything you would need! Had a great time with my sisters!

The only issue was the fridge didn't cool properly so we had to throw away some of our food. The property manager promptly handled the situation and had a temporary fridge delivered. Be aware the property is split with upstairs and downstairs as separate rentals and the washer and dryer are shared. We enjoyed our stay and would rent it again.

Great stay and location to the beach. Clean and the air mattress in the closet came up clutch! All of the appliances and plates/utensils we needed to cook all the meals this weekend.

This home is located in a quiet little village within feet of the beach. The private beach is pretty clean. Home was clean and attractively decorated but in need of some TLC. Blinds on door are broken, faucet base in guest bathroom was loose. Several times there was no water coming from any of the faucets. Outside shower is broken. Used hose bibs that had minimal water coming out. There were no check in and check out instructions from host. No welcome letter with house instructions inside. This would have been helpful to know how to lock keypad on door, locate communal washer and dryer and know code to get into closet where it was located. Host never replied to request for check in or check out instructions or how to lock door with keypad.
